Watching the AU women. Sloppy play, undisciplined play. Looks like we can rebound but transition needs a ton of work. This coach shouldn't be retained. I have seen high schools better coached. Seems only a couple are contributors but others just standing around. TA&M is ranked but we could have been better play...sorry rant off.

She’s probably getting let go after the season But she had a nice run. Really lived off the first few seasons & a great recruiting class to a solid decade of contracts

You're being way too kind to her.

She was an avg and below SEC women's basketball coach. How she survived 9 years is beyond me. It's not like she was making minimum wage

Shots fired?

From a 247 article about Davion Mitchell. Baylor and Drew are full of transfers so it wouldn't surprise me at all if there was some underhandedness involved.

That's very interesting. I'm not sure he has ever addressed that situation before

BP said in the same presser that Davion was ahead of Harper during fall camp and was going to start until Harper surpassed him late fall

I think a lot of people, myself included, thought Mitchell would eventually over take Harper. It's really a testament to how hard Harper worked between his Fr and So years to improve himself as a player that he was able to hold him off.

I'd say it's a rare situation that worked out for all parties but it is interesting to hear BP make the comment he made.

Wtf is going on with Powell??? Did he fracture his skull or something?

He has been out almost a month with a concussion. That isn't normal.

Not all concussions are the same.

Thank you, doctor. I thought all concussions were exactly the same. You have enlightened all of us with that nugget.

OK big guy if you go back a few pages you can read all about his injury.

If you already know all the answers why pose a question?

Do you think any of us have insight into Powell’s injury that isn’t readily available on this site or the others? Or are you just here to complain and be a dick?

Kinda just curious as to whether he is,

A. Seriously injured

B. Leaving the team

C. Bruce is scheming up extra eligibility with the return of Cooper and no tourney this year

I no longer buy that he is still working through concussion protocol.

I figured some of you dickfaces may have some paysite rumor or player's sister's cousin said shite.

Last we heard was from Bruce and he said basically stop asking to the media and it was going to be a while. The whole thing is a little weird.

If we did it would have been posted in here. The last thing that was posted was that he was still working through concussion protocol.

This is possible, but all we know is what Bruce has told us.

Neither of these make much sense and seem unlikely.

Agreed. At this point I’m just hoping he doesn’t have any long lasting side effects from it. If he plays again then that will be awesome.

For him to still be out it means he most likely developed post concussion syndrome. Something I have (a year after my accident still suffering effects).

He is most likely getting vertigo and all kinds of other symptoms depending on how he moves.

I see no reason that should make anyone feel like something is up with Powell. He’s has a severe concussion and each one is different and just because one person is back in 2 weeks doesn’t mean all. I would much rather the team use caution then be sorry for trying to push anyone. This season is practice for next year. Yes we want to win but we want a well rounded team with most of the guys gaining experience to find their roles.

I want to beat Baylor as much as the next person but not at the risk of a kids health. He will be back as soon as the doctors release him.

I like watching softball and volleyball well enough but Womens' college basketball is just a wretched and unwatchable sport. God Bless America that this albatross of a sport is buoyed by revenue sports because, of all the women's sports to watch, it is an awful fan experience.

-14.5 is the spread today...I feel we can keep it closer than that. Awesome to play this type of competition!
