FWIW.. all the NBA scouts I follow on Twitter are very aware of Cooper and were almost as excited about his debut today as I was

With the competition he played against in high school and the AAU circuit, college tape isn’t as paramount as you’d think. The scouts have seen enough of Cooper at this point, without even playing college at all, to know he is a special talent.

His offense will translate to the NBA. Any issues he will have in college are because the paint is clogged up. That doesn’t happen in the NBA.

If Coop leaves after one season and I hope he doesn’t, but if he did, although he would not easily be replaced because he is the most talented PG we’ve ever had, Trey Alexander is more than capable of playing PG. He is a true Combo guard who is comfortable playing point and off guard. He plays point for his high school team.

Come guys. Coop is not going to go Pro after 1 season here.

He has no 3 pt shot, and not sure how is range accuracy is at all.

Yes, he has great vision and dribble drive and dish off ability.

Remember he still is short by NBA standards.

Give him 2 years here, and then let's see how the NBA draft positioning looks...

It’s up to him... but if he wants to go, he will be drafted. His talent jumps off the screen to anyone watching.

The shot is definitely not great and he’s small but he is definitely good enough to get drafted in the first round. Very soon.

Cooper family is not struggling.

Guaranteed money is bigger at top of draft.

He can handle and distribute will aplomb.
Shot Range needs work.
Defense needs work.

I agree he’s good enough to go first round this year, but I think another year and he could be top 10.

It’s ultimately up to him though. Money isn’t really any issue for their family (obviously), so I think it comes down to how ready he is to be in the league.

I wouldn’t be so sure about that. He most definitely could leave after one season and it’s a very real possibility.

Uh, yes he does. Just wait, you’ll see.

So what. If you’re good, you’re good. Height has very little to do with it, especially at PG in the NBA.

I guess we’ll see how it goes. I hope he sticks around but I wouldn’t be surprised if he went pro early..

It's amazing what Bruce has done. We're about to be a school that's going to get screwed by having back-to-back one-and-done's. WTF! Could you imagine this team if Okoro was here and Coop had played all season???

Or coop and Powell together today and all season. Or if coop stays next year and we have jabari smith, coop, Powell, Thor, Flannigan and the rest of the guys. People can be pissed about the loss all they want (not saying anyone here is), but you can look at the program and clearly see Bruce is building something. It’s an amazing thing to see

God I love Bruce

Geez.

Cooper has played 1 game, and all we talk about is another 1 and done.

Let's enjoy his improvement, and the team's and by tourney time(when we don't play), lets reevaluate his draft status.

He will go first round, but not high I feel. another year going against tough SEC teams, will get him top ten in 2 years.

Key word is 'discussion.' That is common sense.

Didn’t get to watch. Bout to watch now.

Ross or Rig, please allow AUDevil access to the board. He’s an Auburn fan and has been trying to get access for a while. For as long as I’ve seen his posts he has never been the argumentative type, and will be another reasonable poster for the board..

Not many guys get in lotto discussion. Usually a group of like 20 realistic candidates to get in that top 14. Wasserman talks to NBA teams as much anyone

Any replays? I missed it. Spectrum sucks. I can’t pick a team to record. I have to find every single game every day and record it.
