We were -7 in turnovers. That’s the only reason it’s close. We’ve got to stop being careless with the ball and start creating some turnovers on defense. Both are things I hope/expect to improve as these guys get minutes under their belts.

Gonna be a streaky season. We have to and will get better. Tons of talent so we will have growing pains.

Powell shot well and spread the ball well tonight. It was a great game to watch

Set a record for 3 pts made in a game where we made zero FT. Basketball is weird.

I did enjoy the whistle-free game, relative to UCF. It's nice to watch a few trips up and down the court with no ticky-tack crap.

We basically used up all our 3 pointers for the next couple of games.

Realistically, I know we won't shoot like that every night, but I'm telling myself that the 3's were a byproduct of being comfortable in our own gym vs. away from home.

With our length we need to be able to make more turnovers and get some quick scores

Probably right. That’s Cambridge’s story since he got here at least.

I was a huge Flanigan critic last year but he did a ton of work on his outside game and FT shooting. Cambridge bothers me because he has the ability to slash but chooses to try and be a catch and shoot 3 point guy.

I get nervous now any time he drives. I’m not sure I can remember anyone recently that’s been that bad at layups and shots around the rim. He’s missed several open layups in these first three games.

My snyopsis.

It's a 12 team bubble with a $500k buy in. It will add some restrictions to guys going from the parent club to the g league and cause guys to not be eligible for some bonuses.

Maine still doesn't have a coach and it doesn't seem like one is imminent.

With the NBA loosening restrictions on two way guys with the parent club, there isn't a huge need for the Celtics to spent time and money on the g league.

What improvements from the young team do you expect going against Memphis on Saturday?

For me I think team defense definitely needs to be addressed. Offense will be streaky until we figure out who can really do what and what combinations and rotations work best but to be a great team over the next couple years our defense has to be able to get stops consistently.

With the bigger bodies, this year we should defend the rim better.

There was just a scare on the Bunker because a poster claimed through sources that Sharife was cleared to play Saturday. JGT them chimed in to say that wasn't the case...maybe something is moving however, maybe not...

On the 247 site there is a mention of a Sharife social media pic that caused a stir (eg he may be getting cleared). Anyone know what pic is being referred to?
