Apparently we have Baylor in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. Curious how similar they’ll be to this past year.

That will be interesting if true.

We will be playing a team that returns 4 of 5 starters including ex-Auburn PG Davion Mitchell.

It will be a very tough game for us...

Sage is 7 foot tall and has a nice quick mid range shot.

All reports from early camp point to Jaylin Williams being an absolute monster this year.

today: #Auburn SG Jamal Johnson says PF Jaylin Williams reminds him a lot of a "left-handed version" of Chuma Okeke because of how his size and athleticism present a matchup problem on both ends of the floor.

#Auburn SG Devan Cambridge says PF Jaylin Williams, his roommate, has been in "go mode" for the past two months or so. Says Williams is dominating his matchups in practice and looks improved even more so than he was at the end of last season.

Bruce had previously said Jaylin is the only guy who has created separation from the backup at any position.

Bruce: ( summarized) in Under Armour and Gray Beard

Good to be back - (covers COVID practice procedures)

First game looks to be Nov 25th in Orlando - all opponents not officially released

Over last 3 years Auburn Basketball is best in SEC away from home... we're 35-20 on the road or in neutral games

Only one of 4 major programs over last 3 years to win 25 games: Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, then Auburn

Last 3 years non-conference record is 47 - 5 - best in SEC.

Youngest team he's had in Div 1

Athletic article makes it sound like they basically gave the NCAA the bird and refused to cooperate, so the NCAA is hammering them for it

Idk, silver linings maybe? haha

Per Rothstein, Orlando tournament games will be canceled. Some of the teams (including us/Gonzaga?) are trying to reschedule on-campus

This is just the tip of the iceberg. I bet our basketball schedule looks completely different in a matter of 3 weeks.

Jon Rothstein
@JonRothstein
Sources: Fort Myers has emerged as a location to host an MTE featuring both Gonzaga and Auburn. Other two teams are currently TBD. Games would be on 11/25 and 11/27.

HUGE matchup in the works for opening night of CBB, sources tell CBS Sports: Kansas vs Gonzaga on Nov. 25 in Fort Myers. Auburn is also in this MTE. Fourth team is to-be-determined, but plan is then Auburn-Gonzaga would play Nov. 27, with Kansas playing TBD team that date too.

@MattNorlander: Context that is key: There is jockeying for the fourth team. If these three teams are going to stay in as hoped, KU and Auburn are going to have to agree on that fourth team. Obviously all these big schools have multiple options at the moment, but this is preferred destination.
