For whatever reason I didn’t think Cardwell was that tall.

Gosh so many 6'-6" and up players. That will be a welcome sight.

Powell is listed at 6'-6" on the team website as well. If he can find his 3 point stroke, then he can be a Bryce Brown type guy, but with 3 more inches.

I didn't realize Cardwell was that tall either.

J Lee also did the equivalent of CBing Sage Tolentino to Auburn

I think he's a better prospect than Kai Sotto, I think he will be top 50

He was listed at 6-9 at points. Before it was known we would take him, people started pointing out he was quite a bit larger than sites had him at.

Auburn fans are going to really like him. He is an intense dude. Tons of emotion

So Justin Powell is going to be our 6’6 white boy PG? Don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.

So we have only 3 scholarship players shorter then 6'6". Those heights are 6'4" and 2 players 6'1". And outside of Thor most of the guys appear to have good weight as well

Its amazing that a lot of these players can gain 25 pounds as basketball players.

It will be interesting to see who our go to players will end up being for the outside shots...

That's got to be our tallest overall lineup ever.

He just committed to AU over Kansas and Kentucky.

Check out his videos on 247. He is a legit, coordinated athlete. He already has an offensive game and can step out a shoot the three ball. A legit five star center.

All he needs is more weight and strength.

Huge pickup.

Looks like Kai Sotto and Tolentino are friends. Sotto obviously went to the G League but I imagine that connection helped Auburn

He's only 15 probably has a lot more room to grow and may even add an inch to that height before he hits campus.

No clue. 247 says he’s expected to start playing high school basketball in Ohio this upcoming season. That will help

It's really hard to gauge with the competition in Hawaii, but he moves very well for a 7 footer and has good shooting touch. Plus if Kansas offers and Kentucky is looking hard, it can be assumed he's a can't miss prospect.

The Kai Sotto comparison is probably fair. He looks like a center well equipped for the modern game.

Glad to hear that. My biggest concern was him coming from very weak competition in HI.

He also plays international ball for the Philippines so he's been tested more than you would think. He's an impressive young man. You just don't see kids that tall at his age have that much agility and hand eye coordination. If he can gain enough good weight and stay healthy this kid is going to be a beast imo.

Why would someone downvote a commit that AU Kansas and Kentucky are all looking at?
