Guess I’m gonna pause on getting myself excited for every fricking transfer that hits the market until they actually commit/sign
At this point we may just hold the open scholly for the next class.

Hope not. Our series of misses lately leaves a lot to be desired.

We are a Mcclung/Figueroa type piece from being close to a complete team. Would be awesome to get a real scoring punch at the 2 or 3.

There's no need to take a guy just to take one. He needs to be a considerable upgrade at the 2 at minimum & preferably be able to play immediately. If those things don't apply then might as well save it for a stud for next year's high school class since we are only likely to sign 1 or 2 next year.

We need scorers now. There are guys out there. Figueroa is a great 2 way player that excels when playing up tempo on both ends of the court. There is also the forward from St Johns. I’m hoping more names emerge.

That's why you take a 1 year GT if he's an upgrade.

Unless you know something otherwise about his sitch he would not help next year. He's an undergrad & needs a waiver to play immediately.

Can he not play the "coronavirus, wanted to be closer to home card" ?

Supposedly they are gonna be super lenient this year.

I'm not so sure we are only gonna have 2 spots available for next year. I would say between 3-4 spots. I assume we will get a GT player at the 2 or 3 that will only play one year if we fill the empty spot left from this year. That will make it where we have at a minimum 3 spots for next years class. Some one will probably be left out of the rotation for playing time and decide to leave especially if a younger player jumps them in the rotation.

My wish list for next year

JD Davison
Jabari Smith
Chance Moore
and if we have 4 spots
Any athletic 3 that has the potential to shoot but is a primary slasher in high school that has the frame to be a great defender. As of now I think we lead slightly for Smith, Davison has been very quiet but we are in the mix, chance moore right now is AU/Bama battle.

Doubt it.

I've heard the opposite. For example, AU insiders thinks it's very unlikely another target Both Gauch will get a waiver. McClung is likely o get one & that's because of his particular G-Town sitch.

Chance Moore
He or fellow Georgia SG Matthew Cleveland have to be major priorities right now.

Is Chance Moore being recruited as a SG or a SF?

6'5", if he can shoot and drive is great for the 2.
