SIAP but Marcello said yesterday AU is nowhere near the top for Kuminga.

Opposite of literally every other report & people connected to the program. Also saw from the G League site a player has to turn 18 by September 15 to get a select contract like the one Green got. Kuminga turns 18 in October. Not sure if the G League will lax that for him but wanted to share.

We are already living in the golden era of AU basketball. What CBP has done in this short period of time is unbelievable. It reminds me a lot of what Bobby Bowden did at FSU, although obviously not the longevity.... yet

The last 3 years of AU basketball.

25+ wins.
Sustained excellence.

With the recruiting that CBP has done, it looks like we are going to be relevant for a long time.

if we can close with Cardwell

I remember when Cardwell came on our radar, I really liked him. For a HS kid listed at 6'11, he looks unusually smooth/coordinated.

I can trust that a coordinated kid can learn to shoot 3s. This would have the GC stamp of approval.

And if not he can be a more physical; Horace Spencer, great glue guy important for team moral & energy.

FWIW An insider on The Bunker said Greg got a $400,000 offer on the table from the G-League, with plus potential shoe deal endorsement.

This was publicly posted on Twitter yesterday - isn’t exactly inside info here

Didn't say or imply it was inside info. I hadn't seen it on the previous page & wasn't going to read the 5 or 6 pages of the thread before that from yesterday's postings just to see if it had been posted. Also the FWIW was supposed to be a SIAP.

Don't apologize. It wasn't posted here. This thread would be pretty empty of information if we didn't post things that were posted elsewhere first.

I will accept 4 shooters and a Horace as a backup plan to 5 shooters.

Yup! Another insider said he's taking the G League offer but we didn't need an insider telling us that. lol

Of course the first time we are in on several elite prospects they create a G League team with unlimited funding to swipe them

Just noticed on Instagram that Jared Harper is putting in some work at Chuck Person’s new developmental venture. Guess there was no love lost there

To be fair it looks like we still would have finished second for both

Exactly. Sorry if that was confusing. Meant that even if the g league didn’t step in, we still would have only finished second for both.
