Yes. Just like Harper is affiliated with the Suns

Yes. Harpers Team was G League, Northern Arizona. Although he was released and looking for another team.

I wonder if that falls through since w all this money lost w NBA.
And I don’t think they were going to play in bham till they finished renovating their Arena. Pelicans play in Erie PA for now.

Money for those capital projects has already been budgeted. I don't see how this will have any effect on the Gleague team.

I'm grasping at straws here, but Green liked Cooper's retweet of his announcement.

all signs pointing to G League

Just saw on another board, some guy tweeted that he's already letting colleges know he's planning on G-League. So sad.
Kind of sucks to have been led on by the recruiting process by someone not even going to college, but it is what it is.
Go make that money Jalen, but you're missing out on having the Auburn family behind you for life.

If he announces G League I'm still claiming him in internet and message board b-ball arguments with other fanbases

Such a strange twist.
Now he’ll be able to play in front of crowds around 300 fans and watch his skills and games on that great media venue Facebook Live by a few more fans.
How exciting is that!! ??

I'm curious who we go after next.. we have a pretty big hole at the 2 and need to find someone who can score.

I claim Dirk bc Barkley had that interview where he said he met a 16 Dirk at a camp in Germany and immediately started trying to recruit him to AU. So I maintain that IF Dirk had played CBB it would've been for Auburn.
This opinion is co-signed by my buddy who's a lifelong Mavs fan and Dirk stan, and he has no college team so he isn't biased
ETA: I also claim baseball players that committed or signed and then got drafted and went pro instead, like Addison Russell and David Dahl. And I don't even care about MLB

Joining Lache Seastrunk on the list of great Auburn recruits who never actually commited to Auburn.

So I read that he'll most likely never play in a G League game. Just go through the camp. Why don't they just let them be eligible for the draft?
Posted on 4/16/20 at 10:14 am to Smoke7024
wtf? So essentially the NBA is just paying him to not go to college and train for a year?
Posted on 4/16/20 at 10:22 am to auburnnyc94
I’m just surprised we didn’t offer more than $250k.
If we paid Cam $200k 10 years ago surely we can offer more than $250k now. I guess we’re still a football school

Sounds like it. I mean if I'm pretty much going to get millions after one year of basketball, then I'm still choosing college. That experience would be worth giving up $250k if I know I have millions coming the next year anyway.
