We were a pretty big player in his original recruitment.

Imma be honest, I think its kinda weird to make a decision based on the virus. Classes and practice are not going to resume until its over anyways. Its not like he has to come straight to Alabama as soon as he signs. I'm not saying its nothing to worry about, but it just seems weird to swing from Auburn to a west coast school solely based on it.

I agree. I don't buy the change in his teams based on the virus.

This will pass, and he won't be here till the fall i assume, so I think it is still down to the top 2 the recruiting analysts are reporting as in the past week.

If AU and Pearl received a NOI from the NCAA and LSU is allowed to skirt this blatant issue we should sue the hell out of them. Strong Arse Offer WW article

Promising info regarding Jalen...still wants to commit around April 15th. College seems to be where he is headed.

Andy Kennedy hired at UAB so I assume that we’ll resume that rivalry shortly

Okoro will declare but preserve his ability to come back. He’ll go pro if feedback aligns with what they think now. Bruce said that’s the right call

If LSU skirts but others are hammered, lawsuits need to be brought in bulk

Anthony Edwards declares for the draft. Any word from Okoro’s camp? Could not having a tourney experience convince him to stay one more year?? The thought of Shariffe, Okoro, Jalen Green together takes me go from 6 to midnight.

Thanks for the link

Pearl said if Okoro receives that same feedback [as a lottery pick] whenever and however the draft process is carried out, the coach will tell him he should take advantage of it and become an NBA player.

That’s why players love Bruce.

Not sure if it’s even on their radar but it would be really cool if the NBA allowed guys to get drafted and then make their decision. Not sure that they ever will due to it being so few rounds though. I guess players would have to be very up front with what pick they are willing to leave at.

Every single player should declare. You can always come back in basketball. See where you’re at and make a decision after.
