Lunardi's final regular season bracket is out. Has us as a 5 in the midwest, playing Clemson (because of course) or TCU after they have a play-in.

Revenge should be on the mind if we draw Clemson. That was an unholy beatdown they handed Auburn last year in the second round.

Apparently Georgia’s game against Florida broke them. They had been playing really well, losing close games to all the SEC elite and culminating in an impressive road win at Florida. Then they lost to Missouri and South Carolina by 20+ each to end the season and scored 39 and 46 points.

Losing this game would be pinnacle Auburn

My fear since I saw the bracket. Sweep GA in the season to lose a headscratcher in the tourney would seem to be par for the course.

Auburn assistant Ira Bowman is now tied to some bribery scheme while at Penn. Need to cut him yesterday.

Has to be right? Apparently the parent bribed the coach ( which makes you wonder about how fricked up CBB really is) and Ira knew about it. Not a big deal but bribery is still bribery.

Does not appear to be illegal or NCAA infraction though

Parent bribed another assistant to help his kid get through UPenns admissions w a basketball priority slot

What the frick

I mean, if we're gonna have a coach caught in a pay to play scenario, I guess that's as good as it gets.

The parent paid the coaches using proceeds from defrauding the taxpayer-funded Medicare program.

Unfortunately it appears that Bowman was our recruiter for Sharife.

Instead of dancing with Lady Luck, we bave to play chicken with her.

Cooper spent a lot of time with Auburn coach Bruce Pearl and assistants Ira Bowman, Wes Flanigan and Steven Pearl. He also hung out with several of the players. “I talked a lot to Jared Harper, Malik Dunbar, Horace (Spencer), Chuma (Okeke), all of them,” Cooper said.

“I already knew most of them, and I talked a lot with (Bowman).” Cooper is very familiar with Bowman, who is in his first year at Auburn after spending six years at the University of Penn. “I knew him when he was at Penn,” Cooper said. “I’ve known him for a while, almost all my life. He’s like family. I really like him.”

If Bowman is pro AU on his way out, the damage may be mitigated

So Chuma didn’t make the all-SEC team. That sucks.
