Yes. The hype surrounding the Bruce hire has died down, so expectations aren't quite as lofty, yet the team is as talented as ever.

Somebody forgot to tell Bruce this isn't the Auburn way. Supposed to keep expectations low and then BOOM outta nowhere we are contending for the league title.

Bruce basically said this year he is shooting for 4-5 based on who he expected at the top.
I was really surprised he thought UGA would be top ~3

Did he have a committable offer to either Auburn or Alabama? I remember reading that he was pretty low on Auburn's priority list for that class

EJ Montgomery, the #9 player in the nation for 2018 acccording to rivals will be visiting this weekend and could be on commitment watch. His sister plays at auburn, and will be a senior this coming season. He has visited numerous times in the past year. Including the Clemson game.

JMO but #9 is too high for the guy. ESPN has him ranked at #23, and to me that seems more accurate. Hes a physical freak just needs to develop more. With that being said it would still be a HUGE pickup to start the 2018 class off right.

Keith just posted an update that three top 70 players in the 2018 class will be visiting this weekend. Two of those are in the top 15 and 5*s. I do not have access but my guess would be
Khavon Moore: LINK and EJ Montgomery LINK
FWIW I dont think EJ ever made it into town last week.
On another note it will be interesting to see how we finish out the 2017 class. It appears MJ Walker and Herb Jones are both leaning elsewhere. Need Garrison Brooks and a SG to close this class out.
