With YouTube tv can you watch a football game on ESPN in one room and a game on ESPN 2 at the same time?

Yeah. No problem. I didn't realize that was an issue with some streaming providers.

What are people that have youtubetv paying overall(youtubetv and internet)?

I still just don't see the benefit of cutting the cord with the cost of it now. It's $73/month for the basic youtube TV. High speed internet is going to run you at least $100, if not more. Let's say it's $100, so you're at $173/month.

I pay just over that for Comcast internet/tv, so I still haven't been able to bring myself to make the switch, not to mention I wouldn't be able to watch the Braves.

Yeah, I understand that. YouTube TV was only $35/month when it first came out and has doubled since. I almost left after the last increase. And no you can't watch the Braves.

I pay $80 for 300 Mbps internet. 200 Mbps was plenty but they upgraded mine with Spectrum at no cost in the last year.

Worth it as long as the carrier has decent signal where you live

There is some good equipment that you can buy that you can put a sim card in and get up to 300mps up and down. Just have to point the antenna properly and it may not be optimal where you think...some folks have some good youtube videos of it. I used to get network connections (wifi type) up to 2 miles with the right antennas...in a previous life...

Call Spectrum to see if you can get a better deal. Their current "special" is 300 mbps service for $49.99/month and 12 months of free, unlimited 5G cell service. I signed up for this and dropped Verizon and few months ago. Smooth sailing so far.

Thank you for that. I got curious and did a little googling. Found this article that might help some people.

$60/mo for deathstar 1 Gig fiber with Max. Have to negotiate the deal every year because it is a "special promotion and might not be available next year." Been negotiating that deal for over 3 years.

Cell service is with T-Mobile (4 lines just over $100/mo) and I would switch to their Internet service in a heartbeat if the deathstar ever drops max on my plan.

YouTube TV has the SEC network and that gives you access to the non CBS/ESPN games.

I pay $34 for Verizon 300 mbs internet and $40 for SlingTV during FB and BB season.

Overseas options are limited. Much better than firstrow or stream2watch is sportshub / buffstreams. Just google and watch anything. Almost no ads, no aids, easy peasy. Usually lots of streams available for every game, any sport. Hope it helps. WE. Got the Panthers and Braves on this morning.

It has been my only option for years since ESPN went to 360, only available through your local cable provider. frick ESPN. I used to pay for ESPNGameday until I had no other choice.

Most people seem to recommend getting a VPN but I never have. If anyone wants to find me here, good luck and hope it's worth their hassle. Same goes for movies, TV, everything. Hope it helps.

When I moved to Pensacola 7 years ago at first I had YouTube Tv and it was fine. Their subscription went up 2 years later and HULU+ was cheaper so I switched. I've had it since and I see every CFB game I want to see which is pretty much all of it minus Pac12 which I don't care about mainly bc at that time of night I don't have the ability to care and all the BIG10 unders have paid.

Last season (or before ) there were all sorts of hinky YT channels carrying live games. Out of country based, but still live. One would get zapped mid game, no problem. Several others were available. I think YT got on that but still fun to check out.

I must not do it right. Just tons of ads and not great quality. And you need a VPN which slows down traffic. Just not for me. I’m alright with paying for a better experience.

I’m going to start the 30-day free trial of 4K on YouTube TV and see how that looks with the games this year.

Firstrow and half a dozen others used to be great years ago but they are shite now. Again, my best recommendation at the moment after spending years finding the best streams every year, and it changes from year to year is Buffstreams, here - LINK

It works fine for me.

Good luck and War Eagle.

We dropped spectrum cable 7 months ago. Was paying $200 for 500 up and the gold TV package. Pay $25 for the same Internet and $85 for Hulu+ live with no ads.
