Gus couldn't name a starter until today because the Oregon first drive script, which is what they'll practice today, wasn't written yet. 2016 Clemson game has evanesced.. and Gus loves it. It'll be different this time with some adjustments, huge QB arm talent and mental toughness improvements.
Player's quotes, re: both will contribute, allude to it. The infamous rotation will be back, though only 2 QBs this time in a Leak/Tebow style-attack and less subbing to 'go fast,' give the QBs better rhythm. A 'best of' mix of 2010 inverted veer & 2013 zone read with Gatewood, and 2017 passing offense with Bo, more of which depending on what the defense is showing.
First Drive
-1st play: Bo in, bubble screen
-2nd play: Bo in, Boobie up the middle
-3rd play: Gatewood in, fake to jet sweep, fake to Joiner, run for first down
-4th play: Gatewood give to jet sweep for gainer
-5th play: Gatewood give to Kam Martin
-6th play: Bo in with bomb to Hastings
-7th play: Bo pass to Jay Jay Wilson over the middle (big tease)
-8th play: Bo designated read pass to S Williams on 7-10yd out
