Also, to be fair, they didn’t explicitly say they would announce after 24-48 hours. They said they were going to use that time to evaluate.

I am not sure why Gus would name the starter before the team trots out on the field for the first play of the season. The team will know who the starter is. Oregon doesn't need to know.

I don't know why were having this discussion, everyone knows it's going to be the QB merry go round for the first 4 games. Whoever trots out on the field vs Miss St. on September 28th will be the guy, that's when we will know.

That needs to happen the week before against aTm. it has to be resolved by then - as of now, its the biggest game of the year IMHO.

The schedule actually sets up nicely for it. If we can get through Oregon, we have two OOC home games to let them tinker with the QB's and strategy to figure out what is going to work for us. In a way.
