Just to be clear I do not think Brown has good fundamentals but I don't think it matters much in Golesh's offense.

There will be a heavy emphasis on deep bubble route sidelines passes and deep balls. That's where he has to make plays. I dont forsee much middle passes.

It so much a cannon. What I have see. In his film is accurate.

Now Brady Mar-KAY-ZEE is gonna be a stud imo. Excited to see him develop in a great player. Not sure I wouldn’t mind him being the PR this season. We need someone that just catches the frickin ball there anything else is a benefit

We had a stretch in the late Tuberville years where we couldn't field a punt to save our lives.

It had been a solid run in that department until Freeze reopened those wounds.

It's been pretty consistently bad even since Tubb's. A few bright years, but in the last 20 years I don't think i've truly been comfortable with our punt returner outside of maybe 3-4 years.

I will be there on the 18th with my crew supporting Auburn with my money and hopefully continuing the tradition of my family attending Auburn. I didn't do that with Freeze. He was a loser and didnt rep us. I have said this multiple times, but the past 10 years has hurt us with the current generation regarding football fans.

Malzahn’s special teams were always solid if not in the good category.

But Gus was a very detailed coach.

Just a few notes from various podcasts.

Sounds like Andre Jordan, the transfer from UCLA has locked down one corner. Had a couple of picks and should have had 4 in the first few practices. Heard his name mentioned glowingly in 3 different podcasts.

Bryce Deas continues to impress and if Demarcus Riddick doesnt get over the injury bug, or even if he does, you might see Deas continue to take snaps from him. Deas is just too versatile, "and everything they thought Riddick would be".

OL, staff seems very high on Ramil at LT. But Jo Simmons who is probably RT was taking snaps at left last practice and Tae Buster was taking snaps at tackle as well. Im sure its just insurance given Ramil has had a couple of injuries. Plazz the transfer from Miami will definitely be in the mix at guard. Center is set with Best. Lots of moving parts trying to figure out what we have with 17 new pieces.

HERE is what an elite receiving season looks like under Alex Golesh. I counted 3 "difficult" throws in this video, and MAYBE 1 "dangerous" throw into a tight window (slant against Saban press coverage with a strong safety)

Didn’t criticize special teams as a whole, was specific to punt returner. More often than not, that position has been more of a liability than asset this century. Coverage units were usually very solid under Malzahn.

The wide splits help simplify pre-snap reads and create bigger throwing windows organically, before a receiver has ever even attempted to get separation.

There doesn't seem to be as much news leaking out of spring practice as with Freeze.Last year we knew everything from stats in practice to what they had for breakfast

Atlanta Braves are Spring Training Champions

And that's ominous.

That's how Auburn I am right now.

With that said Golesh for spring training championship!

Like this a lot better than make it easier for JA

Apparently today’s practice wasn’t up to standards energy wise.

First scrimmage will be next thursday in JHS.

Also, sounds like Sigler has been a standout as far as new additions go.
