I watched the tape of the pro day. To me Holden looked more accurate than Cam. However, the only cannon arm I saw was Cam’s. Holden threw accurate passes against air. Cam threw howitzer missiles.

Don’t even try man. These folks on here can’t believe their own eyes I guess. I’ve seen plenty of practice videos now of all 3 QBs, and the WRs are having to wait on Holden’s passes. They’re noticeably slower than the other 2 QBs.

Literally scouts from the NFL are saying he has a good arm and still you argue his arm is weak lol.

Cam had one of the better arms in the league. When his shoulder is healthy he throws harder than 99% of QBs.. of course his arm looked better.

The delusion is real. This may be worse than the height debates around Sean White.

Well yea, have you ever watched Cam play? He doesn't know a touch pass if it hit him in the face. Everything he throws are bullets even if not necessary.

That is very true. Cam was just doing what he always has done.

Cam is out there for the attention and that is it. He knows his time is over

Was this an audition for Holden to raise his stock and peak the interest of potential schools in need of a QB if/when he transfers after spring??
quote:

Lol no. The players chose who they wanted to throw to them. They’re not going to put their chances at getting drafted or hurting their stock by letting the coaches just choose to put a guy out there for their own audition.
So without Cam stepping up and Holden there weren't better choices?

Few notes leaked today from the situational scrimmage. I'm sure some others will see some things to add.

OL is looking good. Faulk still looking like the real deal. Hunter and Alston had a good day. Fairweather had a TD today.

TJ is still looking like the best QB. Holden looked good today though and only had a couple of bad throws. Ashford had 3 turnovers.

Jarquez had a 50 yd TD.

Justin Rogers, Marcus Harris and Jayson Jones each got a sack.

D J James got a pick 6 off Robby.

Battie had a good scrimmage.

I am betting he fumbled it. Like last year. Like the way he carries the ball and wont change. Like he has been taught 1000 times

my guess is throwing into triple coverage with a man wide open on the other side of the field........hell, we may both be right.

Well, he had at least once interception, so you probably are both right.

I think one was a fumble and another was the DJ James pick when he read and jumped a screen and took it to the house. Not sure about the other or if that was confirmed. Either way, turnovers are a quick way to get passed up in this offense. 2 things you must do-- make quick accurate passes and don't turn the ball over.

Brick by brick gentlemen, brick by brick, Holden will progress. Regardless, in my mind Im going to Carolina, thanks JTaylor, or he is coming here.

Ive seen a few reports. Some say Robbie played better and some say TJ. I don't think either is the answer and with Geriner apparently behind both I sure hope we can find a good transfer after spring

The people saying Ashford are Caldwell and Marshall from 247 (maybe some others too). They think his running is what puts him over the top and since we haven't went live they still give him the benefit of the doubt. Multiple turnovers and being the least accurate passer can't be ignored though.
