It’s a good problem to have. But I want Perry to pan out. He and Coleman are genetic freaks that none of the other WRs possess.

Sounds like Fields might be a solid redzone guy. If you've seen his film, he has trouble separating but he's good at those contested catches.

jt, I had similar thoughts when I read that comment. Does that mean he is good at contested balls.....or......he never gets open and always has to contest to catch a ball. It does sound like he is having a good spring as they all are.
Im also really pulling for Perry Thompson.
It did sound like Durkin was bringing a lot of pressure, DBs and Linebackers getting to the QBs. I wonder if thats to purposely push the QBs to make quick decisions with the RPOs and to see if the receivers are recognizing some of the coverages and adjusting.

Perry reminds me a lot of Ricardo Lewis. Always looks stiff

A Ricardo Lewis that can actually catch…I’ll take it!

Mike Gettins said Deuce hasn’t thrown a pick all spring training. Pretty impressive.
Or it means he’s so inaccurate no one can catch it. (I don’t think that’s it.)

Too early to call for Arnold to catch some pine?

Arnold has also had better control of the offense throughout from what I've heard, BUT I will say this though...... If Duece Knight is just a few steps behind as a TRUE FRESHMAN I open up the competition. I know you paid Arnold, and I know it's not a live game situation, but just handing a guy the job was ONE of the many issues with Thorne. Let this be a real competition dude. I don't care about a QB controversy. I only care about getting the best players on the field. No I'm not in the bunch that felt like we had a better option than Thorne, but I believe handing him the job while he underperformed in camp DID NOT help us.

What color suit, tie, and pocket square should Jackson Arnold were for the New York City Heisman ceremony this year?

Deuce has been very impressive so far, don't get me wrong, but Arnold has been ahead of everyone fairly comfortably. Don't get me wrong, Deuce is miles ahead of where anyone thought he would be. I think those that were saying he may legit push for the backup position may be right and he could win that straight out.

KeAndre Lambert-Smith was able to watch Auburn’s wide receivers practice a couple days ago and said he told them, “y’all about to be the best in the country…”
“It was amazing. They look different, they look confident. They’re definitely gonna run college football.”
I hope he's right. I'm holding off any excitement until I see something worth being excited about on the field during a real game. Sorry.
We were decent last year statistically in many categories. We just had a horrible win/loss record and a bad offense at times. And that's all that really matters. Wins and losses.

I’ve only been proven correct when calling for the right QB. You haven’t earned that cred yet.

Hank lost us the Arkansas game. Imagine being proud of that and calling it "being proven correct".

A certain AU writer appears to disagree, is calling this something of a QB contest and that Ashton Daniels will have his say
isn't that just like a warm blanket for our cold, weary AU souls

Didn’t play the full game, so we don’t know that. What we do know is PT lost more games than he won at Auburn playing full games.
