Ain't no sunshine. I've tried. Things look really, really bad. Wheels are coming off. Those saying give Harsin time, that is fine, but what has he done and what is he doing that makes you think things will work out? What makes you trust him? What successful rebuild project of Harsin's can anyone point to?
I hope for the very best, but I am expecting pain.

At this point I don't see 7 wins next year, or a string 2023 class, and I hope Harsin gets canned.

I don’t think people how understand how NIL going to affect certain schools. “Building a program” is relative moving forward. It’s going to be different now because there are certain programs who are going to go all in and build with bricks because they can afford the bricks to build with. Auburn is only going to have sticks at their disposal to build with. We can build a bad arse stick house but it will not be the same as a brick house. A&M, TX, USC, UGA, Bama, will have bricks to build with and we don’t BECAUSE of NIL. It’s going to take schools with shite tons of alumni who are situated near large market areas to whom they will market these players. We are #13 out of 16 in size and no major market attached.
We kid Bama about letting every kid who can fog a mirror into school and that’s true, but the result over the last 20-30 years is they have shite tons more alums than we do. Same with UGA, A&M, UF.

but comparing him to a very well known name like Smart in year 1 just isn't fair at this point.
I'm not the one who was comparing him to Kirby, the other poster was. But regardless, that he's not from around here excuse ends after this season.
I care less about what our record looks like next year than I do what our recruiting class looks like at the first period signing day. If he can't manage a good recruiting class offensively after year two, he's not going to be a good coach in the SEC, because he'll be too far behind. After Gus ran our offensive talent into the ground, we can't afford to let Harsin stick around 4-5 years and make it worse. Harsin was a divisive hire to begin with, he's not going to get 4-5 years without some solid momentum.

Nailed it... We're f*****d!!!
You might a well switch on over to HGTV, get that sex change you've been putting off, and paint the old man cave lavender pink.

Can I at least keep Pinterest. Y’all are very judgmental. I just want inspiration

We can't have it both ways. If Harsin scrapped his offense mid-season and ran a Gus offense to accommodate the players Gus recruited, maybe we win a couple of those games we lost and keep the armchair critics at bay, but we also stagnate moving forward, which is what I thought we don't want to happen. No one said it'd be easy before the season started, and it wasn't. As painful as some games were, we stayed competitive in nearly all of them, which is what most of us originally asked for. I'll keep my pitchfork in the shed for now, and wait to see what happens next season.

I think going to bump my own thread. We’re indeed fricked

You're sounding as soft as the dough boy.

You sounds soft as f**k. Stop melting over every minor inconvenience

This is a stupid response. Do better

We still have a team so, at least we'll do something this year

Dude, what do you see that makes you think things are ok and will get better?
Just because someone states they think we are fricked doesn’t mean they are pathetic, soft or bad fans. They are just stating what they see and think is happening. It definitely isn’t blind optimism. You think we don’t want the team to do well and get better?

I'm all for Harsin working his plan and seeing where that takes us but if anyone can't see this is a shite show at this point, I don't know what to say. We have a $100M brand spanking new state-of-art football facility and we can't keep staff or players on campus for shite. Not saying it's 100% Harsin, but where there's smoke there's fire and there's something going on. We are fricked for the foreseeable future. Anybody who isn't just pumping sunshine for shits and giggles can see that.

Literally all of the Twitter posts of him recruiting his butt off. Look specifically at all the connections he’s making for 2023. It takes TIME to build relationships with Highschool coaches to attract more players. If we keep kicking head coaches out because they don’t shite out a 10 win season, we will never make it. Also, not a dumb response at all. You are being soft and melting and it’s just emburrassin. Just chill out and let the man succeed or fail. At this point logic is flawed because literally nobody else can come in and do better. I have said this even with Gus (who is fully responsible for the shape our program is in currently and if you deny that it’s says all I need to know about you and your opinion)
