this isn't a melt reaction or negative Auburn reaction. Is there hope for the future of our defense? Is CEJ the future?

When is the last time we had a good D?

2006? 2007? I dont't quite remember. Obviously I love Gus. But I miss enjoying watching the D instead of just cringing my way through it.

The D was solid in 2008, we just couldn't score to save our lives

UGA fricked us on getting Muschamp. I think they lost on purpose so Florida would have to keep him

Nice melt. Scheme does not matter when players do not execute. Who do you think we could get that is clearly better than Johnson?

So I guess we just settle and continue to see this shite show of a defense.

Yes let's change schemes every other year at the whim of fans, that will help the defense.

Who should we hire to replace CEJ?

It isn't a coaching issue. We don't have the players to do what needs to be done.

I don't know who's fault it is, but you can sit in the stands and see we are lining up incorrectly way more often than we should.

I agree we don't have the players to be a dominant D but we have good enough players to play better than we are.

It would be a shame to lose all of this progression and improved defensive play wouldn't it. That would be a disaster.

This defense is regressing badly. This star gimmick has not worked at all. We are back to where we were as a defense when Chiz was head coach. Our secondary is beyond terrible. They are an embarrassment. I am afraid you will see more of this against Georgia and Bama.

I am livid at the product put on the field the last three games on the defensive side of the ball. They look absolutely inept.

We play so soft and know the slant is coming and can't stop it. The only reason we only gave up six in the second half is because TAMU went conservative.
