2006? 2007? I dont't quite remember. Obviously I love Gus. But I miss enjoying watching the D instead of just cringing my way through it.

I didn't mean it as a neg. Whats-his-face on TV was making it sound like profound gimmickry. True there was an unbalanced line. But that was still just a TE drag. Like the 1st or 2nd most common way to throw a TD pass from the Red Zone. They didn't cover it, so we threw it. No shame in that.

The announcers acted like it was some kind of clever trick. Doesn't anybody who played high-school ball for like 2 weeks know how to tell who the eligible receivers are? It's not that frikkin complicated.

Also, if player safety is really #1 priority, outlaw crossing routes, and escort the OC off the field whenever these hits occur.
