Lulz. I usually agree with your sarcasm but this just comes off as stupidity.

Today you saw why he isn't targeted more.

He's had too many drops. Stidham hit him in the numbers.

I would bet money he has dropped 2/3rds of the passes thrown his way this year.

It's imperative we find a true pass catching threat at TE. That would add soooooooooooo much to our O.

We could throw it to him but he would drop it

And we can put NCM in but he has more holding calls this year than he does catches

Yup. I was hoping he'd be better.

Move Slayton to CB now instead of doing it his senior year like we seem to do. He doesn't like it tough, welcome to the bench. I think we moved the wrong player to the secondary anyway. I would rather give Jason Smith a shot at WR than what I've seen from Slayton..

Sal has Brick hands.

Have we targeted Harris?

The other H backs are just guards.

99? Would the defense even cover him?

KJ was an effective receiver yesterday.

I thought we threw a couple of slants yesterday.

No

Needs to run better / quicker routes. He doesn't anticipate the ball coming so he (and Pettway) loaf out of the backfield.

Nope. The one to hastings was a post route that Stidham just unloaded early because the defense was playing so far off of Hastings. This again shows how lost we are on offense in the passing game. We're often given huge cushions and instead of taking advantage with drags and slants we run post routes deep crossing routs or out routes to the sticks lol. Plays right into the defenses lol. The Dbs just sit back and wait on the wr to come to them My personal favorite is when our slot guys do the man beating wiggle juke at the LOS when the coverage is playing 6 or 7 yards off

I’ve been bitching about this for years. We’d be so much better if we ran these and I do not fricking get why we don’t.

There are only a few reasons I can think of 1 is we very seldom do any straight 3 step drops without faking to the rb or speed sweep guys. We usually do some sort of fake or 7 step drop that completely elimates quick passes due to timing.

THe only other thing I can think of is everyone stacks the box against us so there's usually 3 LBs or 2 in the middle with another jack standing up so that blankets the middle.

Announcers have called us out for not throwing it short / quick, Cole Cubelic and beat writers have called us out even writers in pressers have asked coaches about it.

Lindsey was supposed to bring some 3 step drop passes with him but 90% are still fakes and long drop backs.
