I wouldn’t be mad to get Brumbaugh. He’s not a bad recruiter. Pretty sure he brought in a 5* DT to Kentucky.

Wyatt coached with Harsin at Texas so this would make a lot of sense.

Wonder if that is the reason that a FR WR from Columbus just entered the transfer portal. He played in all of their games this year and was expected to be a contributor next year...

I think Brumbaugh used too many three syllable words and it frustrated Pruitt.

Stoops liked Brumbaugh a lot and he did well at UK. Also Stoops runs a 3-4 (or did) so schematically it would make sense as well. I'd be fine with Jimmy for DL. (edit) Not to mention he has a good reputation as a recruiter.

Darrell Wyatt

I’d be happy with this. Dude is a solid recruiter and I know he has worked with offenses that use the slant route.

But can he turn chicken shite into chicken salad?

It’s amazing just how low our standards are now that we had Gus.

Auburn fan - does this potential coach use the slant route?
Beat writer - Yes
Auburn fan - I’ll take him

His abrupt departure from Knoxville was weird... he had only been on staff a few weeks. I’d like to know what that was about

So you are saying it is legal for a receiver to angle between his defender and the QB?

I thought you could only catch it behind the line or outside the numbers down the field.

According to footballscoop.com Darrell Wyatt "abruptly left that program late last week and had an empty office by the weekend". He's the WR coach at UCF. Kodi Burns is emerging as a candidate for that opening UCF.

Had a coworker retire like that once. One Monday morning his desk was cleaned out, like he had never been there. Odd.

Insiders on the bunker say Darrell Wyatt will be our WR coach. According to them he's a great coach and above average recruiter. According to autigers07 one of the insiders he's one of Harsin's closest confidants, but wanted to wait to hire an OC and make sure they were ok with it.

That would explain cleaning out his locker. Nice trade Kodi for Wyatt. Hope it works out that way and Kodi has success at UCF.
