So where are you hearing these names from? Boards or actual sources? Not trying to be critical but Names are being floated in these boards but we don't have real leads so far...

Just posting names I’ve seen posted around here that isn’t just someone throwing a name off the top of their head.

Boise State board was pretty critical of Bedell.

How would y'all feel about keeping Bicknell?

He did about as well as anyone could have making chicken salad out of the chickenshit that Hand left him. As I recall he was an 'outside' hire for Gustav.

Good list, I don't think Muschamp is coming.

I like that only one had a connection to Auburn and he knows how UGA recruits. (Yes he negative recruits)

My only thing with keeping Bicknell is that if you're going to retain any coaches, he is probably at best third on the list for me.

Having two black talented coordinators would be an advantage on the trail.

Yeah I'm starting to think Boise fans have insurmountable expectations and anything short of what Petersen did is just not good enough.

We would definitely suck if I were OC. I was barely in the bad category as a high school OC.

Good baseball coach... bad OC. More baseball talent in my area then football.

No thanks on Muschamp for me. He's a good DC just to many ties back to AU with the old guard.

FIFY

We've heard the black card played forever in recruiting if that's the case why did Sly croom struggle so much recruiting? Charlie Strong at UT?

If you are a good coach and know how to recruit it doesn't matter what color you are. Should we have a diverse staff, sure. But being a certain color isn't a qualifying characteristic. If you take a lesser coach because they are black what does that mean in this world??

The problem with that is, if they do a good job (which I assume we all want), better job opportunities will come calling. The only sure fire way to keep coordinators for long periods of time is to make sure they suck.

Well first of all, no one has ever suggested hiring unqualified staff based on "color". Second, Auburn University's black student enrollment has been decreasing for the past 10 years. Auburn has the second lowest black enrollment in the SEC. You don't think that impacts recruitment? Black alum have become pretty frustrated with this and there have been several articles written recently focusing on it. You might have missed them but our rivals probably didn't. Neither did the parents of future recruits. So yea having two talented black coordinators would be an advantage on the trail.
