Any truth to the rumor of Ron Jeremy being part of our recruiting team?

Alpine, did you use to feed the athletes at Sewell Hall? If so what years?
I was at AU for undergrad '89-'94

So Garner got all them 5 stars by slinging the big stick to their moms. I knew recruiting was dirty business but damn.

Jones, this may suprise you but Garner is not the first man to step out on his wife and six children.
This may surprise you, but that’s not why I mentioned that. Just pointing out that an anonymous poster on an internet message board is dragging a father and husband’s name through the mud about something that cannot be proved or disproved here (in a conversation or comparison as trivial as recruiting, no less).
If that’s who you are then that’s fine. Not here to judge. Just surprises me is all

If Garner used this tactic to land Tyler Fromm I’ve very envious

I think if you get close enough to the "sun", which is SEC recruiting, I'm not committing any sort of slander. I'm not the first person to mention this subject - perhaps it is here on this board - and if the ITAT castoffs continue to be admitted I will not be the last.
I appreciate your point. I know what I know, and while not carnal knowledge I decided to post it.

Proud that we finally, after having to catch up for four pages, made our way back to the mantra. Was getting disappointed that we hadn’t compared Garner’s chicken shite to salad ratio to Rocker’s.

All I know is late as 2005 bitches was hanging out at Barkley's grandma's house on the porch all the time Buttering up Mrs. Edwards so they could hang around until Chuck would come back in town.

Rocker is a coaching upgrade IMO, and a recruiting downgrade, but that can be overcome by the staff.

My favorite Recruiting story is an old one.
Coach was recruiting a kid who was highly sought after. Night before signing day, he goes to the kid's hometown, gets a hotel room, buys a case a beer, and picks up the kid and takes him to the hotel so no other coaches can find him.
While they're sitting in the hotel room drinking beer, they're watching the local news and a report comes out that the kid is signing with the rival school of the coach. Coach turns to the kid, who just smiles and finishes his beer before leaving.
Summary of course, but old recruiting was literally the wild wild west.

Rocker hasn't been hired by some of the top defensive head coaches and defensive coordinators in the SEC because he's average. He's a good coach. Just isn't the recruiter Garner was. He will do fine. Rocker isn't getting the job because of being a former player or from backdoor boosters.

If we are telling recruiting stories.
Mine... a Judge... Like a for real Judge offered partial baseball scholly plus Home-economic academic scholly, guest house very small, 1 bath, Open kitchen bedroom den area. $50 a week to wash his car. And had a plate of food on the wooden wicker chair every evening. The home-ec school was named after the Judge's wife. She taught there for years.
Sorry fellas I didn't plow the judges wife.

I know you didn't ask me, but I did from '88-'90. Great to get on the schedule on Wednesday nights for victory meal, gulf shrimp, filet mignon, and lobster.
