Wife and I are trying to visit all the SEC venues. We went to Fayetteville two years ago and loved it. This year our choices are: LSU, USCe, or A&M. I’m hoping we get around to all the venues eventually, but given these choices, rank them for us and give some rationale.

TIA

I've been to LSU and USCe.

I have not been to aTm.

Between the 2 that I have been to I would for sure choose LSU as a return.

I've been to all SEC stadiums except aTm, UK, Arky, Mizz, and strangely enough UGA.

I was a season ticket holder from '92-'06 and each of those years my group would choose one away game to go to. It was expensive back then I can't imagine the cost of taking a family of 5 for all home games and an away trip.

Final thought from me I know you are trying to go to all the SEC stadiums but for me this year Penn State would definitely be the place to go. Never know if in our life time we will get a chance. I might even try to purchase tickets to that game myself. I think they are around $1K for a pair.

One more thing. Columbia SC is a shithole. Crime infested.

The stadium is great but Lexington (just across the river) and Columbia are nothing but crime and unless I just missed a great experience outside of the game there was basically nothing to do.

Say what you want about USCe but that place rocks. We went in 2011 and it was great. Had a blast and their fans are very into the game

Enjoyed the trip and would go back

USC.

Columbia has a street fair on Saturdays called “Soda City.”

Columbia is a city with some points of interest and restaurants.

Until last season, we had been almost perfect against the Gamecocks.

Wow!

It will be interesting to see what happens in the ticket market this season.

OTOH, people may want to experience live sports more intensely because things were so limited last year.

Conversely, people got used to weekends having a different rhythm because attending a game was not an option.

I think some people will continue without live sports attendance. Golf, hunting, other outdoor activities gained popularity. Available free time goes up when you are not going back and forth to games. The upside is that schools will likely have to really work to make the game day experience more “valuable.”

Time will tell.

A&M was a letdown for me…even with us beating Johnny football.

LSU is the answer. Great stadium and tailgating. If you’re willing to take a little shite talk they’ll respect you, invite you to eat / drink etc.

New Orleans is an option the night before but it’s a cesspool now…

Plus, we need some good juju to break our damn losing streak in Redstick.

I really enjoyed my trip to A&M. People were great. Seem like the only douche A&M fans are the ones who post here.

LSU is the most fun and my favorite venue but most of my experience there was in the 00s when AU LSU was the rivalry in the SEC West. Plus I was in college/my 20s then and other reasons. If you haven't been, go.

A&M is the best family experience. Cool venue, great fans.

I only went to USCe on a Thursday night back in 06 so I was kind of in and out so I can't really speak much to it, but Columbia is a cool town and when they are rolling the stadium can get loud.

Baton Rouge is a shithole. Tiger Stadium is ok but as an Auburn fan I’m not sure how much fun you would have unless we win. The fans suck dick. Unless you wanted to make a trip to NO maybe? frick that place. Go to the others.
