Question for season ticket holders only

Ignoring on the field performance, do you think the gameday experience in Auburn has gotten better, worse, or been about the same over the last several years?
Going to games is losing it's magic for me. Huge time and energy commitment (we drive down from Atlanta), and of course not at all cheap.
I feel like entry into the stadium has gotten worse, concession stands are not set up well (may be driven by the layout of the concourses), post-game traffic is much worse. Don't really care for the light shows but whatever.
Add to that poor performance on the field and that IMHO NIL and the transfer portal are killing intercollegiate sports, and staying home and watching on the telly (if at all) after this year is starting to look pretty good. It's just feels more and more like a major hassle with no payoff in sight.
What say y'all?

The entry to the stadium is absolutely ridiculous. I can’t believe Cohen hasn’t marshaled the resources to address that. It is more than a hazard. It is downright dangerous.

Better experience but there are still problems..
Everything being expensive as shite.
Concessions in the uppers for us plebs are garbage. Straight garbage. Stuff runs out mid second quarter. No variety. "Nachos" consists of a bag of chips with a separate $2 cup of cold cheese.
Exiting the game is not bad until you get to the car and deal with the non police trying to escort you out.
That being said it's a full ordeal. But it's my hobby and I love it. I love the pain

My concern is that it has gotten worse, not better. With all the new food vendors, you cannot get around the outside concourse as it is like an obstacle course, that pushed folks into the inside concourse and that was absolutely horrible.

Just buy your shirt to stripe, all orange, or whiteout the stadium.

I don’t have a lot to compare it to, but I have noticed several things I didn’t used to feel were issues:
1. Getting into the stadium has not been a good experience lately. There is a severe bottleneck on the Gates 12-17. The folks going up the ramps combined with the people waiting for concessions creates an immovable mob.
2. Placement of concessions at gates 12-17 creates bad flow during the game too. Long lines. Beer sales is no big deal to me, but they need to space some of the co concourse vendors out a bit.
3. In-game stuff is fine, I liked it generally better before in-game entertainment became a sub-event to the football game itself- but everyone does it and ours seems to be on par. I like the video boards fine.
4. Pregame- Eagle, God Bless America et cetera is second to none.
5. Tiger Walk isn’t as good as it used to be when the band and cheerleaders came through. Doesn’t really do it for me.
6. Post game traffic and bus routes back to lots needs a lot of work- especially for those that have to use them to get back to handicap lots. Leaving a game at 10:15 and not being able to get back to your room in auburn before 1 am is a problem.

Do you think stadiums could do like a preferred entry time for 10 sections via X gate so that it's not always not just everyone trying to get in 30 minutes before like it feels like most the time. Not heavily enforced

I can’t tell if the decline in my interest level is a result of the quality of the product or just a loss of interest that goes along with being in my 50’s now.

Capacity has not changed, if anything, true attendance has dipped. Very very rarely are upper decks full. So why is crowd flow so much worse?
Video board content stinks. Tired of looking up to see down/distance, time, etc, and every square inch of scoreboard AND ribbon board is blasting "Get Loud" or something stupid, with every pertinent game stat removed.
Must "First Lady" Roberts be recognized and her Air Force pictures be featured on the video board EVERY SINGLE GAME, GOING ON 6+ YEARS? Giving veterans a game ball is great, but why is she the only one who can present it. Do we have to recognize her and flash her 1980's giant glasses USAF service picture every game year after year after year?
Alcohol sales have made behavior much much worse (and I'm a drinker, but I'll take a pass on $12 beers).
I don't even consider concessions due to the cost and wait.
Wish the band was still a part of the natural in-game experience, but I don't think I even hear them anymore except halftime.
Too many timeouts and too long (I know that's TV, but it's still worse than years ago).
Way more seatbacks are installed now, and their terrible design removes several inches of legroom for the person behind them.

I took all 3 of my kids, 9,7, and 5 years old, to the Southern Miss game. It was their first ever AU game.
I grew up with season tickets from 1998 through my freshman year at AU (2011). Some of the absolute best memories of my life with my dad and brothers, wouldn’t trade them for the world.
Naturally trying to recreate that a little for my kids and have even considered getting season tickets at some point in the near future but man, the laser shows and the white tent crap and the portal and NIL and Auburn sucking are doing everything they can to keep me from doing that.
The entry into the stadium alone very nearly ruined the first game for my kids. It took us literally 50 minutes of waiting to get into the stadium. We were thankful for the lightning delay because we would have otherwise missed all of pregame.
Growing up we would always start to enter the stadium at the one hour mark and we would be in our seats with concessions at around 50 minutes until kick.
Understand the north EZ project has some to do with it but man that was crazy. And as others have noted bordering on dangerous.

My fam are season ticket holders since the 80's, upper deck scum. I renewed on my own this year.
If it wasn't for my kid being a freshman this year, I wouldn't have renewed. The entire experience has passed me by. Basically, a combination of me being in my 50's, Auburn sucking, NIL, free agency, and the fact that the Auburn gameday experience has eroded into some crappy extended lightshow, piped in dubbed BS music from a shite DJ. Add in the ridiculous traffic, trouble getting to your seats, wasteland of upper deck concessions, paid parking, paid tailgate... I'm definitely not the intended audience for this product. They're ruining what was great in Auburn and in college athletics.

I’m also old enough to remember the Halftime Aubie skits. I wish they would bring that back. My kids would love it!
I’ll never forget Aubie putting Big AL in an Ambulance and driving off.
