We need QBs because what we’ve got isn’t going to get it done... Griener gets a pass as he hasn’t stepped foot in campus and could be a potential star. We need a group that can push each other. Bring on the UGA kid.

Ahhh. True.

He is like a lot of top ranked coaches. If they can bring in a experienced top level transfer QB they’ll do it over their recruiter 5 star guys. Fields, maybe Vandergriff.

If I remember Vandergriff’s mom went to AU but he signed w UGA becuz he didn’t think Gus’s offense was right for him. Now we have a different coach and offense plus UGA has a better qb room.

Yeah we are talking about the guy that decided to roll with Jake Fromm instead of Justin Fields. Kirby has shown he likes to play it safe at QB.

Yeah, if you want to learn how to buy the highest ranked players or design a top defense follow Kirby’s example. Choosing the right QB to start, not so much..

would he want to compete with Geriner

Guys who play QB at this level think they are good enough to compete with and beat anyone out, so I doubt he gives that much thought

Sucks. If Slovis can stay healthy and upright he'll probably be the best QB in that league. I wish AU could have gotten him.

Goes to show us too that u don’t have to have a OC in place to get a pretty good transfer QB to come play for u. (Pitt has no OC right now).

Yes, but they do have Slovis’ girlfriend lol (she is a soccer player at Pitt per USC board)

Sometimes the light just turns on though. See Jason Cambell as a Senior as one example. There's no doubting his physical talents, it just looks to me that the game is moving about a step too fast for him. Hopefully reps will do the trick to slow things down.

Behind this OL he will likely get injured after a few games and then we would be down to two QBs…(FR and R-FR QBs). We really need to find a transfer QB.

He just needs to work with a QB guru this summer. I have seen some nice things out of him. Touch is his biggest issue. It is early to throw the towel in on him, IMO. This doesn't mean we don't need a good QB transfer. TJ is one play away from us being in a worse spot than we were this season.

Y’all can talk yourselves into Finley. I won’t even be tempted.

Yep, I refuse.

I’ll predict 5 wins if he’s the starting QB in 2022.
