I dont understand the benefit of a guy from Sam Houston that is rated that low in the portal. I know someone is gonna say McLeod was from App State, yes he was, now you want to discuss all the busts from small schools we picked up.

As of now, I think they are planning on Faulk being at LB and they want one more experienced player for at least depth at the position.

There will be more portal options after the playoffs and after the Spring.

I know Faulk is projected at LB, but if he matures anything close to his brother he will be 250 by the time he arrives.
I just dont see the point of bringing in a fourth or fifth edge, particularly when you have a couple of younger guys. Waller and Phillips are looking at a second year of bringing in a more senior guy on top of them. I understand last year, but again this year seems a bit much.
Coaches know best. Now a good, I mean good DT is definitely on the top of the list, hopefully we can snag one from one of these playoff teams.

Walker really thought Freeze wasn’t going to bring in competition in the QB room. Hopefully Arnold isn’t so fragile if Freeze is able to grab another top portal QB.

His Twitter announcement and Baylor press release. Something about going where they’ll develop you as a QB. Nothing drastic but seemed unnecessary

Don't know what Baylor's depth chart looks, but maybe he a better shot at playing there. He wasn't playing this year or possibly next so I get it. We are gonna have to get use to losing highly rated guys to the portal. It's just apart of football now

Do you think we might see some QBs go for HS to JUCO, start for 2 years, gain experience, mature physically and emotionally, then do 3-4 years of FBS?
Can our NIL align with some JUCOs?
Can Auburn just outright buy 4 JUCOs to provide starting experience and great academics (of course) for these kids. Especially some that may have struggled with legal issues on other campuses?

What an odd thing to say when he requested to be redshirted and probably got as good of reps as a freshman could get besides being a starter, getting to lead the scout team.
Dude could have easily been the backup this year if he wanted to and is transferring where he will be the backup.
