Those came with most of his WR's out of the game injured, throwing to 2nd/3rd team guys, and an awful OL. I bet all of the drops in '23 with our then-awful WR corp and OL would produce a very similar looking spray chart.

Agree, … this is Freeze’s last opportunity to show he can drive the team to where it needs to be.
I had previously read that Singleton was supposed to announce on Thursday (yesterday) but I haven’t seen anything.
Good news is that we will soon have fresh meat in the portal (following bowl games) . If Freeze can continue to add quality into need-positions, as starters or depth, we have a good shot at improving.
I’m more optimistic, but only if the OL is adequately addressed in the coming weeks. My viewpoint has become very simplistic with the Auburn offense:
Competitive OL = getting push and expanded playbook
Push = Improved Red Zone and better 3rd Dn conversion
Better red zone = more W’s

Unfortunately that's not how it works anymore. Half the team would leave and we couldn't afford to keep em paying yet another buy out and having to hire another new coach.

Athlon has been referring to him as the “Million Dollar Transfer WR” …. #1 position, #2 overall ….. so there are plenty of big names after his services, including visits with Auburn, Texas, Ole Miss
