Would love to have Air Noland, but he would have the same issue as Walker, he would be behind a two year starter (hopefully) with a 5 star breathing down his neck.

Alan Head answered my question for me. If your team is in the playoffs, your deadline for declaring for the portal is 5 days after you finish playing, not the Dec 28th deadline.

None of that is guaranteed. That's my issue with that train of thought. What if Arnold kills it next season and leaves for the NFL? Air already has a year of college and would probably be the backup this season if he came. Then comes in and takes over. Then Deuce.
