I wonder if Tre Stewart RB JSU wants to graduate transfer. He’s a really good one. Over 1,400 yards and 21 touchdowns this season.

All we really need is to know who our QB will be and who will be calling plays. Freeze thinks it’s too hard to call plays for 4hrs so I guess someone else will. A lot of transfer QB talk but I don’t have any faith our staff knows how to judge QB talent. Sure would have been nice during this 5-7 campaign that we could have tested all of our current backups more.

Jackson Arnold has the best upside of all the portal QBs outside Mateer... Hugh would prefer a guy that has more than 1 year to play.
But there are 2 others that Hugh is HIGHLY interested in that are not in the portal yet..

Jeez, still 2 years remaining? I assume that's if he gets his medical redshirt. If he gets it and plays 2 more seasons, that will be 7 seasons of college football. His LSU season basically doesn't count since it was the 2020 covid season. That's insane.
