Yea I’m gonna agree on the list, underwhelming for sure. Outside of cam cook and Jahiem white and the usf guys it looks like depth guys to me.

There are multiple players on that list who are ranked among the Top 3-5 players at their respective positions currently. The North Texas RB is literally the #1 RB and is ranked higher than Byrum Brown on the overall. The Kansas State WR is ranked as a top player (#19 on On3 and #31 on the Composite). The Tulsa TE is ranked as the #2 TE. All three of these are 4-stars in the rankings.

Maybe do 30 seconds of research next time. Its always the guys who bitch the most who seemingly can't be bothered to actually look into anything.

Byrum Brown, the North Texas RB, and the Kansas State WR are ranked higher on On3 than every player that has left Auburn not named Cam Coleman.

Durk should've just kept him at a nickel. He played himself there.

Durk didn’t move Scott, they relented to his request to keep him from transferring. He sucked at corner and then sucked when they moved him back to nickel.

Fresh start at Miami and reuniting with ZE did him good.

Add Randy Pittman Jr to that TE list according to 247.

When’s the last time we had a Pick6? I know Atkins came very close this year.

Pleasant.

Our RB room has seen zero attrition beyond Damari Alston. Unless that changes I highly doubt we are getting the stud RB. That's not even near the priority

The list of targets looks fine.

The list of Auburn outgoing does. not. You mention 4 stars. We got 7 leaving so far. We are the gift to the P4.

Yeah, RB transfers really isn’t a flex. We’re good there. All the other rooms on offense are straight cheeks right now. Need moar news on top OL, WR, OL and QB portal players. Replacing Deuce with Mercer’s QB and Cam Coleman with G5 Johnny ain’t gonna cut it.

We need to spend our top money on 6 OL, Byrum, a DT, and an edge.

We need to give Xavier tons of help so that offenses arent keying on him.

I hope we are getting those USF receivers for relatively cheap.

The RB is an all American. They lost and all American receiver and QB too. Maybe we can grab the WR. With the new staff it looks like Noone even the insiders have actual Intel into the program right now. Other than Brown it is all turds being thrown at the wall and A monkey could see that hes gonna be QB1.
Hell, maybe we should start our own show and just put out assumptions like these "insiders". Its as solid as any info they have put out since the new hire

Trivia question who was playing center when our offense started to finally show life? Key Hint: Not Ellis

I recognize he was only 17 but we cant depend on him yet. He was getting blown up.

That dude is super talented though. I'm willing to bet an off-season of strength training will see him take that classic first-second year jump. I'm all for bringing in a veteran center to ease the transition though

I expected to lose a fair share of players but man we have lost so many it’s hard to get your head wrapped around it. We’re going to have to make an all-time haul for OL in the portal. I’m interested in how Drago has modified “the plan” as a result.

Or maybe I did and still said yawn. I’m sorry if just because the guy did so great at north Texas that he’s the number 2 running back in the country. I wonder if he played in the sec anywhere last year what he’d be ranked? Just because you typed alot and put up stats doesn’t make you the smartest guy in the room. 247 would argue with your rankings fwiw.

What do you think the rankings are based on

Some of you need to understand the term “relative”

Based on how they performed over the season I’d imagine. Again north Texas played an entirely different league of competition throughout their season then we did or Florida or any of the SEC or B1G teams did. Maybe he’s decent maybe he’s not but we have two recruits in the top 15 portal rankings and deuce is rated higher than brown from their take too.

If the rumors are true we have a huge problem. And I agree with the way AG is handling the situation. In my 45 year career managing people I had several times where someone would come to me with the old “either I get what I want or I leave” schtick. Best way to handle it is to let them know if you talk the talk you better have come to me prepared to walk. I looked it this way, if they dropped dead we weren’t going to shut the plant down. I had twice where they said they had a better offer somewhere else but didn’t really want to go. I asked them if it provided them a better opportunity they should go.
