He’s about to get the Perry and Malcolm treatment at uat. I doubt he gets anywhere near that if he stays or leaves.

Brilliant logic! Let's go out and use the players recruited for one system, and just plug and play...........because that is how it works.

Exactly! This was a part of Saban’s process. He had specific types that he looked for at every position.

I’m glad to see Golesh has the same mentality.

Probably looking at 1M for an elite OL. That is base. To get one to come to a disaster that we are you have to pay a tax. 1.5 would be a conservative estimate.

I think people are anxious because we haven’t heard any names rumored to us besides USF guys (for obvious reasons).

If we cut a bunch of guys then don’t replace them with good pieces then I’ll worry. If we only get USF guys then all the criticism is warranted. I’d wait to the portal actually opens before I get worried though.

Yep. It also isn't a guarantee all of our guys that are entering will leave (though I'd expect it). Hell, Malcolm entered the portal last season too. Going to happen when you bring in a new coach.

Portal doesn't open until the 2nd. Thats a long time in CFB world.

Stop bitching about every fricking thing.

We have a new HC. He needs to do things his way.

We had a squad that played just well enough to lose under freeze. We had a squad that played just well enough to lose after freeze was fired.

Golesh may not be him, but I want to get the frick out of his way and see what happens. Bitching about losing players, who couldn't start on a 5-7 team, is ludicrous.

This is very similar to some of the players that we will have leaving. He didn't like how conversations went with Sumrall, and I'd bet money that those conversations revolved around a decrease in salary. Lagway squeezed a ton out of Florida, and the new staff doesn't see the value.

You people are bipolar. Btw now youre directly throwing our defense under the bus just as much as the offense.

So do you think we’ve budgeted 4-6 million for the offensive line room?

The D was not the problem. The O was the problem. People are bitching about losing WR's and OL. We need to trim the fat there. We need portal guys for those positions. HS signee are not fixing those problems. We need RB help in the portal.

We need a deeper DL from the portal. We need safety help from the portal. We need LB depth from the portal.

This team reminded me of some of Chiz's teams. Looked great on NSD and had holes all over the field when it was time to play. Just changing thee HC isn't going to totally fix our problems. We need to improve the roster. In todays game, every school is going to have guys leaving and portal guys coming in. Some who leave will be contributors. Some should have been. Some are guys you barely heard of.

After Freeze was fired the D definitely became a problem and contributed to doing just enough to lose closely.

45 points against Vandy?

I am not sure if you watched them, but Vandy gave everybody fits. I am not judging our D off of one performance. Our D was tight AF all year except for one game. I call that an anomaly.

My thing is depth. Regardless how crappy the O was, these are young uns that could provide us depth and possible PT in a year

Cant keep starting over every year an we didn’t sign near enough this yr.
