And you can’t blame that on Golesh either. Whether some fans realize it or not, we were going to have a group of players enter the portal anyways, no matter what coach we brought in. No worries with those players

Interesting on who the top 5 would be.. and I would imagine the fan top 5 would probably be a bit different than reality. Or maybe not. What five would it be?

Lew leaving hurts big time. I think Ellis will be really good, but not sure he's ready. We could be looking for 5 new OL in the portal.

Coming off an ACL injury I am not sure Lew cares where he gets drafted.
Lew is kinda like Broome. You pay him a little more to stick around but our budget flexibility may not be there. There's that budget word again.

For those freaking out about every player entering the portal, here's a little nugget from Mike G on the latest War Rapport. He stated he's already quite plugged in with the new staff and during talks with a high level staff member, he was told that there wasn't a single player who had declared intent to enter the portal, that they were concerned about trying to keep. so take that info however you want to.

That's really disappointing. Barring a top 5 portal class that gets big time impact players at multiple positions I'm just going to have a hard time believing in this staff.
