Great name. Only appeared in one game so guessing he would just be to help with OL depth.

No sense leaving because of Jang. We really need more opinions here than the handful. I rarely ever post, just read. He is good people believe it or not.

These 4, and 5, star guys are becoming rich entitled little bitches. Not all, but a lot of them aren't as hungry as they were when they were working to get that first million.

The 3-star kids are hungry, and train like they have a chip on their shoulder. They're more open to hard criticism, and coaching, since they're still trying to work their way to the top. I don't think it applies to everybody, obviously, but there's a lot that going on, imo. It's only natural for complacency to set in.

Alex Golesh is looking for hungry arse football players who are ready to work their arse off and win a title. If that's a blue-chipper, fine. If that's a 3-star, ok. If it's a unrated player who worked his way up from the bottom, let's fricking go. At least that's my opinion.

I went to Baylor for the game, think I remember this dude had a good run or two. Built like a tank. The fans raved about him.

dude had 1000 yards in 2024. His highlights are strong. We could definitely use him

According to StatBroadcast website, he had 3.9 avg for a Long of 18 yards.

Some App State DL committed. He's a Saint.

He had more tackles and sacks than Amaris Williams and probably cost us literally a million dollars less.

That is why you have to base pay on performance not potential.

Two different positions. That guy is a nose guard. I think he was talking about Nate Johnson.

Jt, stop chopping my buzz

He was referring to the nose guard, who certainly should never have more tackles/sacks than an edge/DE. Yet somehow he produced more than the million dollar man Amaris that jang is so enamored with for some reason.

Perhaps somehow he will become the next Clowney when he transfers but I doubt it.

Jang admit it, we will be better than 5 and 7 next year, so the money we are spending, and who we are spending it on, and for what positions, make sense.

Now take those posters of Williams and Blockton off the ceiling over your bed, its quite disturbing for a grown man.

Freeze’s first recruiting cycle was a fine-ish high school class and a G-5 filled transfer class. That’s what we have for Golesh, with a little more upside on the transfers because they’re his guys from the previous school

Not that he’s the bar meet. But the next year very quickly switched from G5 to P4, and that’s probably what we’re looking at here

Where are you pulling your stats from? Saint had half a sack last year and 1.5 TFL, Amaris had 2 and 6 TFL. He did have one more tackle.

Completely different positions obviously as we just need Saint to eat up blocks and allow the LB to wreck shop. And he looks like a decent fit for that nose guard need.

But until we actually pick up a good edge rusher in the portal talking crap about letting Amaris go is pretty dumb. He's not irreplaceable, but so far we haven't. Hopefully we do. Nate Johnson is a decent depth piece with upside, but he didn't do squat at Mizzou.
