We want to win and Ashford earned the right to compete.
If he folded after being down early against Ole Miss he would’ve earned the right to leave for Jacksonville State. So Ashford has at least earned the right which speaks volumes considering he is Plumlee with melanin
But Ashford needs a legitimate QB competition.
After seeing so many convince themselves that Calzada was a good pickup I’m sure we can come around to DJ too.

Or, hear me out, get a QB that we don’t have to convince ourselves is a good pickup? Back door deal with Vandergriff, steal the QB commit from Clemson, etc.

Reports are Dawson is staying. I think someone mentioned he might but it has apparently been confirmed

I never had high expectations for Canion. His high school QB was absolutely terrible so it was hard to figure out what his skillset was.

I just remember being excited because they came in the same class and were taller than 6 feet

Guy threw some dimes when he took over for Daniels in the 2nd half of the SECCG. That one TD he threw over the UGA Safety Starks was a big time throw.

According to Hoke, Calzada was scheduled to meet with Freeze today but Freeze told him to go meet with player personnel staff instead. Calzada left the meeting and entered the portal. Make of that what you will.

Freeze has talked a few off the ledge and pushed a few over the ledge.
