First half was shaky, and we caught a break with the replay on the UK TD, but we appeared to take command in the second half. Short field on turnovers helped.

Still need to work on getting the defense off the field on 3rd down. As always

UK is decent, but not great. It was a good start all things considered.

We need a running game. If we can’t run against KY, imagine what we do against GA or AL.

Defense did much better getting off the field in the second half.

Typical Steele...some movement between the 20s, but stingy with the points.

If the OL can watch some film together and grow a bit together over the next few weeks, we might be pretty damn competitive this season. Nix is taking that next step and our wide receiver core is outstanding.

Hope that wasn’t a one-time thing. I miss that Pat Dye semi-formal look.

We have to generate pressure. As expected Pappoe will help provide pressure but we aren’t getting enough consistent pressure....Positively, with inexperienced QBs throughout the league we might survive games regardless.

Seems I’ve heard that Pappoe providing the rush somewhere before. Lol

I'm hoping the playbook was pretty vanilla today, saving it for uga.

Pappoe is a freak. We ain’t getting enough out of him only playing the run or coverage. Gotta let him provide pressure.

Proud of the win. Game went exactly as I expected....close at the half and AU score twice late to put it away ( i predicted 34-13 ).

Defense made adjustments as always.

OL needs to get alot better.

Worm and Tank look the best so far. I enjoyed Tank trucking the guy on the return.

Seth Williams may be the best all around WR in the league.

Bo looked much improved on his accuracy. He still bails early but I did see him step up a few times which is more than he did all of last year. Accuracy was on point. Probably half of his incompletions were throw aways.

Flash needs more touches but we honestly only ran 57 plays but still

Defensive Line will get better. We were down a healthy Big Kat so he was ineffective, Jay Hardy, Daniel Foster Allen, and Derik HAll second half. TD Moultry going Offsides still urks me. Dayum man its the same thing for 4 years straight.

I would have liked to see MAR.

Best part....I can definitely tell this is Chad's Offense. If we can get better each week I like our chances this year.

That was the best o line we will play all year and we were down our best 2 pass rushers for half the game.

Generating pressure has been a problem for a while now. Who other than Big Kat was out for a while?

We don’t know what they are about yet. We generate pressure and this season gets a lot more interesting.

I hope Dylan Brooks is seeing early PT.

I'm confused... Isn't he part of next year's class? Not to mention he's committed to Tennessee

Yeah I mean I hope he is seeing opportunity to play early next year for a team with real team goals.

I’ll separate Brooks from the rest of the post.

True, but I hoped to see more passing patterns involving the TEs.

Still inconsistent offense although saw some good strong plays over the middle.

Did you notice, Worm started got his normal so many carries then they never used him at all(or very little) in the second half.

Saw more of DJ and Tank it seems.

OL and DL struggled as expected. Hopefully having Big Kat and Hall back will help on 3rd downs but I think we are pretty soft in the middle. Thought UK should have hammered it more and I'm glad they didn't. UGA will. Gonna need a better effort.
