Ive heard the same...never really bothered me. To me that is a recruiter doing his job.
Get the sale, take no prisoners.
Fair enough and I will be on the bandwagon if he comes to Auburn and pulls in top recruits. But until that time I can remain pearched on my high horse

I am one of the biggest Trooper fans, but DC was just having fun... I would be very excited to have DC back on the plains pulling for us vs. against us... He will leave FSU, the question is Auburn or UT... Jimbo made a BIG mistake not leaving, he will not have much of his staff left.

So what if he mocked Trooper. How many times did we have to deal with NCAA "issues" whether real or imaginary with TT? Do we know what, if any, issues DC ever had recruiting?

The Bama spin machine will start in force... especially around Winston and DC involvement... Would have to look

I'd be happy to have Dameyune back on the Plains. He was a great QB for us and from what I understand he has done a good job so far in his coaching career and as a recruiter.
If the worst thing he did to "negatively recruit" against Auburn was making fun of Trooper a little bit I have absolutely no problem with that.

I don't see the big deal with this whole negative recruiting thing. It's not like he could say to Jimbo, "sorry boss, we lost recruit x, he was interested in Auburn too and because I went there, I could not persuade him to come here over there." Sports in general is a cut throat world, if you hold on to past loyalties, you won't make it. The fact he may come back shows he likes AU. The dude was just doing his job.

Looks like Eddie Gran is going to Cincy with Tubbs.

My brother played with D Craig back in the day. He's got some pretty cool stories about him. I don't think he's kept in touch with him though.....

D Craig was a nice guy. Used to live in my neighborhood.

Tommy Tuberville said it best..."we are hired guns"...nothing more, nothing less. A coaches loyalty goes wherever the paycheck is coming from. I would love to have him back on the Plains.
I loved DC...I still remember him slapping that OL on the butt during the 97 season I believe. Might have been in the SEC CG vs UT...

The best way to keep DC from stealing recruits from Alabama and negative recruiting Auburn is to pay him. I would love to see DC back at Auburn.

Do y'all think DC recruits any differently than Trooper? Do y'all think kids will commit to him instead of committing to the school? I liked Trooper and didn't mind if a kid committed to a coach as long as it got them here. But if you were calling for Trooper's head, I don't see why you would want DC at Auburn. He's not that much different than Trooper from what I've seen.

There are two very big differences between Troopa and DC according to some folks... DC does not wear his hat backwards and does not wave a towel... Other than that, they are very very similar...
