Local Montgomery sports radio show just speculated that Gus may be hiring Pat Nix to his UCF staff. They are also implying that Bo may be going with him.

Sounds like hog wash, they apparently got this from some Barrett Sallee statements made on another radio show.

I guess that could be why we are chasing Shough from Oregon. It all sounds like nonsense to me though...

I think that came up on one of the Auburn sports talk radio shows the other night. Pretty sure it was a random caller who didn't share a source, not Sallee. I wouldn't think it's anything more than speculation.

Why would the #96th rated passer in 2020 leave an almost guaranteed starting job to compete against #21? When they are both Sophomores?

We never threw for more than 23 TDs in a season under Malzahn.

Dillon Gabriel should be the one considering a transfer.

*Harsin never had a team throw for less than 24 TDs as HC at Boise St, not counting their 7 game season in 2020.

If Bo Nix actually transferred out, we'd 1000% be a prime destination for someone like Shough or some other transfer QB. Michigan just had one of their starters at QB enter the portal who was also a 4*, albeit he kinda sucked when he played this past season.

They would not walk into the season under the impression that a true Freshman is starting next season.

T-Will supposedly getting some help with David Gibbs as co-DC.

I knew it. Zero % chance Gus would let T-Will run the defense by himself. He's not ready.

You would think that, but have you seen our roster at the QB position?

Davis had 72% last year. Not saying he will light it up but better than Nix coming out of HS.

You can cancel the Amber Alert for Darryl Wyatt. He has resurfaced in Orlando as Malzahn's WR coach at UCF.

100%. Williams is a recruiter. Not x's and o's.

TBH, people try and make football more difficult than it actually is. You first need talent, which TWill can get, then basic understanding of schemes. TWill is more than ready to lead a D. This isn't rocket science. If Ellis Johnsons dumbass can get a shot at running a D, TWill should too. He has actually played the game and worked under Steele.
