Its funny that some of you still just assume it is Gus's fault he didnt play
Just maybe there was a reason he didnt get playing time.

I don't think MAR entered until Gus was fired so he is probably following him, plus he gets to be near home.

I dont think anyone was being a smart arse, just pointing out that Gus catered to this kid the whole time he was here. He was one of the worst RB's we've ever had, and should have never started a down at AU, yet Gus would trot him out there week after week.

UCF isn't going to have the budget to hire better analysts and off field personnel. Gus is going to have to grab youngster's that don't cost that much.

What? Martin averaged 5.5 yard per carry, just like Shivers. So according to the morons here both should be an Auburn legend. All time greats, both of them.

Well it was sarcasm.... you know, watching Gus surround himself with old buddies and yes-men like he did at Auburn, and eventually getting himself fired because of it. But it was a jab at Gus, so I’m not surprised to see you in here making it personal.
Btw, no one is actively rooting against Gus, but the Kam hire appears to resemble the similar lazy hires (grimes, hand, burns, etc) he made at AU, and I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see UCF in the recruiting dumpster in a few years.

Gus has a legitimate problem with not expanding, but this one is reaching big time. First off, Kam Martin was hired as a Grad Assistant - not an Analyst. You guys should actually read the article lol. Secondly, hiring former players as GA's is completely normal and not at all "surrounding yourself with buddies". The role is literally made for this purpose.

No, I guess I'm the dumbass for not expecting to see Kam Martin hired as a CFB coach (GA, analyst, coordinator or otherwise) after finishing his career less than 2 years ago
