In defense of Smuphy "its a complicated situation". Seriously things change by the hour. They probably picked up the phone and called Salter and said, we got one on the hook are you coming after you graduate in the spring or not cause a have a scholy burning in my hand.
I think Salter had that same problem with credit hours transferring, thats why he went back to Liberty to graduate.

Regarding Thorne, he has a good NIL deal, consider:
We also spent money on a good number of receivers who contributed absolutely nothing, well I take that back, they contributed a lot of heartburn.
Where would we have been without him, a lot worse record and probably turned off a number of recruits.
If he finishes the spring qb1 we are in good shape, if not we have a good backup.
Now we need a couple of DTs cause right now the interior line is going to be a reasonable facsimile of the Chunnel.

Juju Lewis would be a phenomenal qb to pick up. One of the few I’d rather have than Kj Lacey.

Forewarning to everyone, there’s a decent chance RW will give some quotes to reporters in Tuscaloosa this weekend that they will EAT UP making them think he’s going to sign with them. If he’s going for maximum shock value on signing day he might even “recommit” to them this weekend.

I think so too but I’m not about to say who.. and no reason to speculate unless it becomes clearer. I’ve made the mistake before, only to be let down and not trying to get anyone’s hopes up.
And I didn’t buy the idea of signing McLeod, unless it’s strictly as a PWO, unless something changes or someone leaves. Which could very well happen for all I know.
I also might have some solid info on KJ Lacey coming up but I want to make sure it’s accurate before I share it. I’ll say this, that spot isn’t going to be there forever and although I think the door is open now, that it might not be for long. I would advise him to take it, if he really wants it, before that door closes.

It also seems like we may be somewhat interested in a 25’ Cali QB, TJ Lateef. I think we’re probing to see how much mutual interest there might possibly be and continue to evaluate. I know Deion at Colorado is high on him and I can only assume we gathered some Intel from a certain coach about him, who just came from there. Not sure.

The Rivals guys are at least respectable and so are a few others on the beat. The on3 guys only care about being first, whether they are right or wrong.

Another season with PT back there will make me no fun during the season
And I already knew what CAP meant. Id like some credit for that but Green CAP is a new one. I will have to look that one up
And some of the new slang you young kids use just doesnt fit and some of it does. "Fire" is just stupid and doesnt even sound right
