What about a DC who held Alabama below their scoring average?

I want at least a couple of 5*s committing after that fricking game.

Recruits don’t care about who wins the game it was all about atmosphere. If we have a couple guys locked up no reason to hold up on them announcing. I could see one announcing tonight like Favour Edwin. Then possibly someone tomorrow.

Atmosphere was as good as it could be, so there’s that

LOL. I know you cant be serious.

Why would any recruit not want to be a part of this every year?
Posted on 11/25/23 at 6:42 pm to CorchJay
I know a Favour Edwin commitment would make me feel better about our 2nd consecutive inexplicable home loss to bama

Results matter, wins matter. Silly to insist otherwise but one game is usually not the deciding factor in any one recruitment. But, what they see on the field matters
I don’t think this game hurts us. I think losing two straight to end the season kills our momentum and might hurt.
I think also that recruiting is ambiguous enough that anyone can make a game, outcome, or event fit into the narrative they’re pushing.

Today’s game didn’t hurt recruiting one bit, last week’s loss was a horrible look, but they saw an exciting game with rabid fans. They see themselves being the one to turn today into a win.

Fair enough, and I think there’s gonna be coaching staffs in the ear of kids we’re trying to close on saying the same things
We’ll see how strong Freeze’s closing game is

How about the last two in a row?

I am sorry but it hurt me man.

We have no idea how to win anymore. We got beat by some better teams this year but you cant lose the last two like we did. Anyone could argue that CAl should have beat us if they had any idea how to win.

There really is only 1 narrative. And we are going to hear about it for decades. Thanks to our dumbass coaching staff, we may not hear as much about losing to a high school team last week for the first time in school history

No amount of stars will fix shite coaching. Why in the world would anyone want to pay their hard earned money for more of the last two weeks.

Ask saban whether good players are more important than coaching.
