Some individuals have been trying to get Mike on campus for a year now. He wanted to come to a game last year. It was set up but Harsin never sent the invitation.
We finally got him on campus and he loved it. Lot more than reported. Mike is wide open.
Let's not forget that Mike is teammates with Jayln Crawford 5 star DB who was in attendance as well.
So glad to be welcomed back in the state of Georgia.

Replacing/taking back our place from Clemson as the destination for non-UGA GA kids is the first step toward getting back to relevancy.

We lead for Jayln. I think we’re going to pull out every stop we can to get Mike. Probably offer and take some of his friends just to get him.

You’re absolutely correct. Clemson being relevant has been the biggest obstacle for us. Beating them for Walker was a huge win.

I 100% agree Walker was a huge win for us. I feel like our biggest obstacle the last handful of years has been a complete lack of effort in recruiting from our HCs

Believe we’ve gotten a commitment today, but I’m not 100% sure who. May be Blocton from pike road.

Cole Pinkston believes we are in it for 4* Ny Carr
His commitment to Uga is still strong but he is giving Auburn a good look.

Agree we do for Jaylen but... Mike is his on man and keeps things close to the vest. Dabo has been on him for a few years now as well as Kirby. Auburn has a lot of ground to make up but it is worthy cause to go after him.
I addressed this last December with the board. Mike wanted to go to the Auburn vs Texas A&M game last year. It was all set up through his high school coaches and Auburn personnel. All it took was for Harsin to extend the invite. Mike wound up at Clemson watching them destroy Louisville. Harsin never called.
This staff is working day and night. We do have a good shot and it would send a loud message to Athens Georgia. Kirby knows Auburn is coming and he now has to work. So does that man in Tuscaloosa who if you meet him in person.... he is not aging well at all.

Keeping them out of Georgia, hell lets start with keeping them out of PhoeniX City, heck they may have been having lunch with our recruits at the student union on campus for all we know

I was reading this article and it was sounding super positive until the very end when the kid says Auburn’s at the bottom of his top 6. Which stings more considering he’s committed to UGA
