Doesn't really matter. I'm still betting he beats Auburn. If I was an A&M fan I would be highly distraught if we lost that game and would be done with Fisher. He has already given up playcalling. He has been there since late 2017. If he loses to a bunch of upstarts in year 5 or six after losing 7 the year before then he is done.

MacIntyre currently a JR at BA will need to put on some weight to be d1 ready. Kid has an arm but they’ve struggled out of the gate this season with 2 losses to CPA and BHS. Lots of dink and dunk stuff outside of the initial BA drives to open the last two games. He did throw two near pick tds inside the 10 last Friday night.

Is it fair to say many 2025 kids will pick up stars over the next year?

A lot of shifting will take place and you have to be extraordinarily good to get a fifth star this early. So I would imagine four stars are not near as easily earned as being a senior.

Yeah, early all around

The in-state ‘25 class looks good so far. 247 has 7 in their top 30 nationally, which would make them all 5*’s

A few of those guys will drop, though. But lots of top 250 kids again. Lots of southern AL kids too

Heard Pink of the podcast say a source on the IMG staff said the best DL on the team is Lindsey. Might have gotten us a defensive version of Conner Lew

He was the best player in their game last week. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up a 5*.

#1 WR in the '26 class, Aaron Gregory, is coming to the game this weekend. Usually I wouldn't even bring up a
'26, but this guy was playing 20 minutes away from me last year at a small private school. He changed schools this year, but he's legit from everything I've seen so far. He was great at camps during the summer too.

The past few years have been pretty wild around here.. A 5* basketball recruit, multiple 4 star basketball recruits, one of the top OL in the '25 class, and the top WR for the '26 class (and more)... Most ended up moving though because there's just not enough support from the schools/BOE.

And it was clear he was the best player. He’s disruptive as hell.

Best DL player possibly on the team but jumping to a 5 star no way. He would have to move up 250 spots basically to be a 5 star. The recruitniks just don't admit they were wrong that easily.

People put way more stock in *'s than they should, IMO. I will take a bunch of 3* that develop into all SEC talent than some guy who is highly rated because of who is recruiting him.

I could see Rivals doing it since he seems to be high on their radar. Agree, though. Doubtful he makes that kind of leap

Last guy I remember doing that quickly was maybe Shon Coleman, although I’m probably forgetting a few more

Team Composite Rankings for AU per 247 since 2015.

I break down team composite rankings similar to this...

Top 7 can win championships

7-15 very solid squad

15-30 all these teams are about equal depending on where games are played and who has a better QB.

30 and above - In the SEC you hope you can make a bowl game and most times you won't.
