Conference would be dominant in both football and basketball. Covers a ton of major media markets, big name brand state schools/draws and wouldnt be terrible georgraphically
A few years back, I thought this was where this was all headed. And it would have made for a great conference. However, I cannot blame Texas and Oklahoma for coming to the SEC. USC and UCLA to the Big 10 is just no good though. I can't see how this will be a good long term fit.

I may get blue balls checking this thread until Bolden announces. It was a glorious weekend and the NW guy was a good pallette cleanser, but I'm ready for the release of getting a 3rd 5 star.

thUGA fans are starting to turn on Bolden with the whole "he doesnt want to put the work in, so we dont need that cancer attitute" and "good riddance, he's overated" already. Sounds exactly like Bammer's on Perry and Demarcus. Still wont believe it until it happens - too much can change in just a day.

It's hard to admit progress if we finish 2nd for coveted recruits, but there is definitely progress. This staff has relentlessly pursued high value talent, created a community among commits (straight out of the Trooper/Luper handbook), kept backup plans warm, delivered a number of positive surprises, shown they aren't just chasing stars, made Auburn recruiting events must-see-tv, shown they can read the room in a target's recruitment, and that they can pull a dramatic flip off. Before long we are going to have to apply the "peacocking" meme to our football recruiting.
