X-Rays are easy and fast. They can show you a little but for tissue density you want a MRI or CT scan. But it’s not uncommon to have an XR first

I couldn’t tell. They didn’t really focus on that

The way he walked off kinda reminded me of when Duke Williams hurt his MCL against A&M in 2014. I’m far from a doctor just my opinion.

You can walk on a surprising amount of various, serious knee injuries right after the injury. Once swelling and inflammation takes over it’s a different story

He will be fine. Pearl is a master.

X-Ray is always standard protocol for every injury then they’ll follow up with an MRI. First rule is to always rule out a fracture. It’s most likely and ACL/MCL.

Someone on Twitter that LOOKED reputable said bone bruise. No way that is right.....right?

I wouldn't think so based on the replays. I'd be shocked if we see Okeke again this season.
Posted on 3/29/19 at 9:41 pm to plaric
Bone bruises are trauma induced. So I’d doubt that

Looked like he grabbed the backside of his knee. I’d guess PCL.

Did anyone see an anterior drawer or Lachman test by the trainers?

Just a game of guessing among spouses and children of physicians at this point
Hopefully a sprain. Either way it seems doubtful for Sunday. Gonna need Purifoy big time

A hyperextension would be best case scenario!

Combination of Purify and Spencer. Spencer is capable of having a good night. He’s no Okeke but AU is on fire. Can beat anyone

I’ve had knee injuries in HS but never PCL but yeah, you’re almost right;
I watch Grey’s Anatomy. I got this bro.

We have to convert our FT’s on Sunday and easy layups to help our cause. We started what 2/12 from the strike? I kept getting nervous that would hurt us in the end, thankfully the 3’s kept falling.

Coaches and players seem to think it’s really serious.
