Ok boys. What is the new outlook on the remaining season and opinions of Golesh now?

I still think we wind up at 6 or 7 wins as predicted preseason. This win is certainly a sweet one though and I would rather beat UGA than Bama just because of how Georgia has owned us for 20 years.
I haven’t really wavered from thinking Golesh is solid but I still haven’t seen anything to make me think he is better than a 8 or 9 win coach. Maybe we can gain some momentum from this one with recruits.

Who cares?
This is the biggest win in a decade. Gonna celebrate it for what it is right now and hope some of the better players in HS and across the college landscape take notice and want to come play for a team that can knock off the #1 team in the country on any given Saurday.
War Damn Eagle, boys!

It takes some professional pessimistic views to see this as anything other than fricking awesome.

how is it that running Brown more on designed plays seemed to help his throws as well? how does that work? he was hitting the open guys that he ignored all season

Golesh provided some POC today... specifically, toughness. We have a lot of building to do, but Golesh now has leverage and a win that will build confidence, chemistry and give the coaching staff some ammo on the recruiting trail.
This is the win neither Freeze nor the Idaho bum managed to get. No underselling it. It's huge.

They leaned on BB's strength today. And his strength is running the ball. Running the ball effectively will always open up the passing game. Concept proven today.

I’d like to thank Golesh for that win. I was so freaking tired of losing to UGA. I wanted that one bad.

Golesh is automatically better than Harsin and Freeze.
Not that that matters

Next week will be very, very tough - probably lose.
50/50 vs UM and UA
win the rest

War fricking eagle boys. I love this win. May be the beginning of something or a win for today that we enjoy for 6 months. Either way war fricking eagle.

That’s as low of a bar as one can possibly set

Agreed but needs to be put out there

Fire Golesh immediately and start a coaching search. He is clearly too emotional to win more than six games a year.

When you don’t turn the ball over, you stay in the game.
When you can run the ball, you stay in the game.
When you can make your FGs, you stay in the game.
When you don’t have needless penalties, you stay in the game.
It was not perfect, but it was a win the team, coaches, and fans truly needed.

Winning close games. Baylor, UGA and Vandy. Florida had three weeks to prepare. Played UT far better than Bama.
All to say, i have hope in every game we play.

It’s great they won but I guess my biggest issue was they had already coached this guy and should have known when he’s at his best but did the opposite with him the first 5 games. It took a bye week for them to say ok let’s use his strengths and turn him loose.
I believe they made him some kind of promise for NIL, to try and play him in such a way to show that he can be a pro style player. It took the bye week to convince him otherwise. Thats the frustrating part! This offense wasn’t built that way and it showed through the first five games. Congratulations and War Eagle! Signature win, know use it and do something with it! Dont waste this opportunity!

Took a near perfect game to pull off the victory, but that's why it's played on the field, not on paper.
The bye week had a positive effect on the team. Can't forget that.

sticking with my 7-5 call preseason, although this was what i expected us to do last week at Neyland rather at the dogpound
still got a brutal stretch ahead of us, but you cant help but feel more optimistic after a total team effort like yesterday
