Nix makes good quick decisions, good arm strength and speed for a kid that should be in high school still..... he’s my guy for future

So Far....

For sure... Nix or Gatewood is the guy. Didn't get to see Gatewood run it.

WR's have been great.

First team D not looking real dominant.

I remember thinking Cam Newton had come to AU to ride the bench after his performance at A-Day. I doubt we've learned a whole lot from this but im impressed with Nix for sure.

Y’all haven’t seen Gatewood unleashed. We haven’t seen enough to suggest Bo over Gatewood.

Agree.

Also, love Carnell. Glad to have him again.

Exactly. I was at that spring game and remember thinking Neil Caudle was going to be the starter after. That's because we didn't see Cam run.

Cam had been so hyped. I thought he looked like shite in A-Day. People who had seen him kept telling me "just wait until the season starts".

both QB's have looked good. Gatewood has thrown some nice passes. Nix was born to play QB. This is a nice problem to have.

They weren’t allow to run any aggressive plays on the defense so this doesn’t concern me

Yep. I would put some stock in what the announcers were saying (though they were the same ones saying that Sandberg should RS)...do you feel good about turning the game over to a true freshman to start the season against Oregon?

By that standard, I think Nix may have to show himself to be a lot (or at least significantly) better than anyone else.

I could easily see Nix taking over the starting job as the season progresses.

I think the big story is not necessarily who did what but that the offense looked like it had direction and flow. There were some mistakes but overall it looked cohesive and at times dominant. The OL made some impressive holes and contained the edges well

There was a sweep during the first half that was blocked perfectly. What little OL play I focused looked great.

I saw Cord Sandberg went 8-8. Did I miss something? Why did that poster hate on him?

DJW looked very fluid. I think there is a reason he was 2 behind Boobie.

Always seems to work well for Auburn’s opponents
