We dropped early tonight in KenPom to number 2. Houston is 1.

We probably should, but I don't trust AP voters not to be reactionary and not look at the resume.

It’s certainly possible.. especially when the name chasing you is Duke. But I think our resume is just overwhelming at this point

In a just world it would take multiple losses to dethrone us. Sadly voters have short memories.

Gary Parrish made this argument in one of the last Eye on College Basketball episodes. He thinks AU has the resume and such a "lead" over everyone else that if they dropped a game they should stay No. 1 regardless. He also understands the reality of AP voters and wouldn't expect it to happen, but he thinks it should be the case.

Just home from the game tonight, all I have to say is WOW

This Auburn Family...WOW
I have been attending Auburn Basketball games with my father in Baton Rouge for over 40 years, literally my first time was my dad brought me a as a young boy to go watch Charles Barkley when he came to Baton Rouge
I have never in 40 years seen the Auburn Family come out to the PMAC and take over!
My dad and I were so taken aback by the Auburn Basketball support in that building tonight. He and I just sat back and enjoyed the moment together
Hearing the Auburn family cheering like they did, tickng off the LSU fans, it was pure gold!
My dad and I definitely shared a special moment at this game tonight, that wouldn't have happened without Bruce Pearl and the Auburn family..
