We have been inconsistent on O for some time. UGA and UAT game at the end of last year were anomalies. Perhaps we had the emotion and were not to be denied after yrs of losses. I am not an expert but for me it starts with the coach. CL was an ok hire but has not exactly turned our offense into a juggernaut. If Gus stays, he needs to bring in the best of the best and let them bring in their position coaches. A tweak here or there is not the answer.

What I found most disturbing was the clear frustration the QB was showing. It seems crazy to me that we would have to call a timeout at home because we could not get plays in time.

The OL was putrid. Stidham was off, and honestly, several times I thought he just kind of gave up (granted, against Arky that is understandable.)

The bottom line, at least to me, is that this starts with our OL and running game.

The schedule gives a bit more time to right the ship --- but I am pretty sure Alabama will murder us. But maybe we can get better on offense, at least enough to get us by Miss State and then keep building.

It also concerning our defense wasn't even lined up three times at home when Arkansas snapped the ball. This team needs discipline and urgency.

This is where a TE pass would work great. O-line protection is limited so a quick throw to a TE would take some pressure off.

Just another underachieving frustrating season, it's just normal under Gus' watch.

Pre season expectations made it a top ten team. The play on the field hasn’t. Why there are already rankings right now is absurd if you think about it...

You really think we will finish the season in the top 10? The only poll that matters is the final poll.

If our only two remaining losses are UGA and Bama, we will finish top 10. And i'm not ready to say those are both losses

You are talking to the biggest Gus fan on the face of this green earth. He also said “Marcus Davis is a beast” when he was a junior. 251 is probably 14.

I'm not a huge Gus fan.. but at the end of the day we have looked horrible, yet we are 3-1 with a top ten win and a top ten loss. And we will get better. This is right where we start finding our groove generally under Gus. I don't see us finishing worse than 9-3. And you gotta live with 9-3 with this schedule or you probably should just stop watching football.

Lots of schools wouldn't live with 9-3 from this schedule. The clown makes 7 million dollars a year it's time to produce or disappear.

GTFO with this logically sound argument!! We need more angst and infighting!! Thanks! I see issues with this team OL,RB depth, offensive execution but I don’t see a lot of teams nationally that don’t have a ton of question marks as well.

Oh, and Marcus Davis IS a beast

quote:

“It really was one of my biggest downfalls. I went through a lot, going through that,” Whitlow said of the injury. “There were nights that I just cried and just was like, man, I don't know if I just want to work. It's all just patience. We've got a new coach, Marcus Davis, he's like the biggest role model I've got. He was telling me, 'You've got to be patient. Your time is going to come. That cream is going to rise to the top. So you've just got to be patient.' I was getting in my head, like, it's going to happen. It's going to come.”

like who? Bama?

They would literally be the only team expected to do better with this schedule.
